DaveVanB
I use FSUIPC Client to read AI Traffic and it works flawlessly in P3D, and FSX. However, it has issues in MSFS. Distinction between airborne and ground traffic seems to be a problem. Is there something different about the data in MSFS? In X-Plane, for example, I have to determine airborne vs ground traffic on my own using elevations. Do I need to do something simliar with MSFS? DaveVanB
Update: This seems to be happening to users who us FSLTL for traffic generation. So, probably a problem with how they are generating their traffic. It would be good to know the specifics of what is used to determine ground vs airborne traffic. Paul Henty
I'm not sure how FSUIPC determines if the AI aircraft is airborne or on the ground. My dll just uses the two offsets provided (0xE000 for ground, 0xF000 for airborne). Maybe @John Dowsoncan give you more info about how FSUIPC populates these two areas. John Dowson
13 minutes ago, Paul Henty said: Maybe @John Dowsoncan give you more info about how FSUIPC populates these two areas. Those offsets are maintained based upon the AI traffic data received from MSFS via SimConnected. I suspect that MSFS isn't providing the traffic information for traffic injected by FSLTL for some reason. You can log AI traffic data (what FSUIPC is seeing) by using a Log->Custom value of x10000 or x50000 (for all AI data). John
