Jon. I thought I would fly from CYPK and look around and decided to go to Victoria Harbour and see what it looks like now with the Vancouver+1 installed.
I removed the 3 BGL's as instructed. I had the older version of
vicenh installed before you put it all together in one download and all was fine. I know have the latest version Vicenh05.zip
installed and until this time, I haven't flown the Victoria area.
What I noticed is Victoria Harbour is landlocked. So I changed my TMVL back to 20. I wanted to see how Vancouver looked with it at 20 anyway, and still Victoria Harbour is landlocked.
Any suggestions or possibly a patch in the works for it?
It's all still great work. :D

OH YEAH!!! I know about that CVN74 culprit. :wink:
And for that problem, I just moved or deleted those CVN 74 files.

My install went in without a glitch :D
First I changed the TMVL to 21 as instructed, I may change that back to 20 and see what happens. I noticed a cruise ship while flying out of KSEA, sitting on the rocks, vicen-05.
Other than that I left it as is just to see everything. I haven't flown the whole area yet, but what I saw was very good, actually AWESOME. The placement of the bridges actually have a road that connects in the right places.
My Autogen slider was totally off, so I moved it to max. Now I don't know if the Vancouver scenery has or did this, or Koorbygen kicked in, but it made the scenery much better, around the edges of the city, etc.
My framerate was rather low, so I opened up the scenery configurator and unchecked the marina etc. I gained some frames back. I am kind of on the low end anyways.

I feel your pain Wedgee. I downloaded it, but I think I will wait to install it and standby for your outcome, if I can :wink:
I'm going to check for some other problems that others had first. I hate to wait. :P

Try SHIFT + E. That's what is for most aircraft doors. Unless
you have an aircraft that is configured different.

Yep, it works. looks like the Forward slash was missing at the end.

Once you signed up, your in. Look through the site and take a look around. There is a section for Multiplayer information. TeamSpeak Ip and Multiplayer IP.
They just fly any time they want, sometimes leaving a message
when they will be on. Remember, this is Bush Flying.

Hello Holger.
I was reading your message over at Simouthouse and putting together some files for water textures and effects that you suggested. Outside of Misty I don't particularly like the looks of my water up north. Right now I have Vilk-vater, better than
default for sure.
Looking in the pwover8 file, by Peter Wilding,I do not see the
env_highmoon.bmp, or the , env_newmoon.bmp.
Could you clarify this one please?

Could someone direct me to a site where they explain how mesh, land class, textures etc work together with some kind of definitions of them.
Also, anything related to flight simming including aircraft and how they are put together. I'm looking for just the basics really for a better understanding of what all is involved. I think the work of designers is fascinating, but I don't think i have the time to get totally involved. Right now I am tackling RWY 12 just to place objects. I almost have it down.

Hey Wedgee. No, it's not the downloads for the library. Thye have a newer version out and it didn't seem to download all the folders, namely the static objects folder I believe it was, so I kind of took parts of the older version and tried to get it all together but when I actually went to place an object, it was not there. So, I am going to start from scratch again and make sure I have all the files in the right place. It all looks good in the process but it's not working, yet. I want to place a hangar an some airports is my project right now.
Are you in the know on RWY12?? I clould use some tips if you are. There are no forums open at this time that I can find. I have printed out all the instructions I could find on it.
Any help or some direction would be appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks Holger. I reinstalled FS9. Everything seems fine for now. I will reinstall Misty after a short vacation. If the issue come up again I will repost.

I have the registered version of FSUIPC.
When I reinstalled Misty Fijords and started FS9 I got a FSUIPC version conflict message. So I removed the fsuipc files from the modules folder.
I reinstalled fsuipc, no problem. There probably is a post somewhere on the fsuipc version conflcit somewhere. Could you tel me where that is or post here what I should do.
Also, I uninstalled Misty because the sim constantly had to reboot with it installed. I got a few scenery errors, but one still remains on sim startup,
Scenery.cfg error, addon scenery/scenery/ in scenery area.038
not found. I wonder if I need to reinstall FS9 again or, directions please.
