    Static Aircrafts

    I'm missing some static Aircrafts... Do i have to install them extra, or are they no static Aircrafts at all ?

    Not a single one of them at LHBP, but quite a few at the smaller airports.

    The reason is obvious, the very dense and complex AI traffic that was also included is a much better replacement for those statics.

    Budapest 2003 - Windows error ? (2)

    - Chipset NVIDIA Gforce 3

    - Processor XP 1.6 Mgh

    - Ram DDR 512 mb

    With the auto gen 3D off, the frame rate are goos at +/- 15 images/sec.

    So I don't think the system is not powerful enough for the scenery.

    The single fact that you seem to have the error while autogen is on indicates, that it might be a display related problem, but at the same time it seems to me (?) that it is not directly related to the sim itself. First of all autogen in itself either works or not, and even if there was an error somewhere, you would get an FS-error message instead of a Windows API one. Did you try to decrease other visual setting while leaving the autogen on?

    Is it always autogen (which is truly present in this scenery) that causes Fs to quit without any internal error message?

    I see a loss here of 14 Euros to get something that i was told i would be entitled to for FREE. I did as YOU instructed. Now I AM out of pocket.

    So i would like my money returned in full.

    I'm going to leave this with you now. As the author of this software. I have been misled into believing that i would get my upgrade for free. That itself has implications. I want full re-imbursement of 19:95 Euro's.

    I feel bad about this misunderstanding. But as simmarket says you will be refounded, so I see no real loss, apart from the fact that on the release day - it's true - the update version wasn't available online straight, which I did not know. Sorry for that. As you rightly state, I am the author of this beast, and I know little or rather less about the commercial side of it.

    AI Traffic compatibility

    - A legfontosabb, hogy kompatibilis-e az AI forgalommal ? Akár a gyárival, akár a MyTraffic vagy FsTraffic 2003 kiegfészítõkkel ?

    - A reptereken vannak-e animált, mozgásban lévõ objektumok ? Olyasmire gondolok, mint ami pl. a Lago Emma Field scenery-ben van.

    - Az elõzõ BudME nekem nagyon lassú volt sajnos. Néha szinte használhatatlanságig belassult, fõleg felhõs idõben (PIV 1,8Ghz, 512Mb ram, GeForce3 rendszeren). Az új verzióban várható-e javulás ezen a téren, mert ezt így képek alapján nem lehet megállapítani ?

    Az első kérdésre a válasz: igen. Ferihegy egynapos forgalmát tartalmazza, de csak default gépekkel.

    A második: Nincsenek. Azért nincsenek, ami a harmadik kérdés.

    A harmadik: Legalább kétszer, de inkább háromszor gyorsabb mint az előző verzió.

    hi andras, last december i've bought your scenery budapest 1.1 on box cd publicated by aerosoft.what can i do for upgrade the scenery?????

    Very difficult question you pose. The worst. I don't know the answer. The first thing I did was to offer the scenery to Aerosoft, but they are not interested. Therefore I can say nothing positive in this regard. Perhaps you should ask from them. Sorry but I can not help you more, although I'd like to...

    The problem is that The upgrade costs 14.00EUR. I purchased Budapest 2002ME the beginning of February 2003, and if I want to get the upgrade it says it costs 14.00EUR plus 10.00EUR shipping (no download option). So how do you get it without paying for it?

    Fantastic, your scenery !

    How did you manage to place the autogen buildings and trees ? Did you use annotator.exe or is there another solution to do it less painfull with photo-realistic scenery ?

    Btw: Are there planes to cover even a bigger part of your country ?

    Autogen? Well, I wish there was another way... but there isn't. So we have just carefully did all 990 bitmaps with annotator.

    A larger portion of the country? Well, not at this time and probably not in near future. I am in a bit strange situation, because for 8 years now I keep on making newer and newer versions of Budapest, but I do it for fun and for another important reason:

    I have done 36 commercial sceneries for different companies, and except Vienna, there was no city or airport I really knew in reality. That's why I love doing this city, where I live and which I know, so I don't need to depend on others providing insigh. But the country is larger than my city and frankly I don't know it that well...

    WHERE IS THE LINK for the previous customers to upgrade their Millenium Me to the 2003 version?

    It seems that Simmarket or you have changed your mind...

    Carlos, No, it seems nobody changed minds in this regard.

    The free upgrade, which actually means the ENTIRE new CD is either downloadable for those entitled, or can be sent by simmarket.

    There is NO upgrade as such, for the simple reason, that no single file remained from the old version, hence there's nothing to "upgrade". In this regard "upgrade" simply means that the entitled ones get the full new version for free. For this you still need to contact simmarket, with your old proof of purchase.

    Ok, I understand now. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

    In order to get the FREE downloadable version, you still need to order it from simmarket, but tell them your date of purchase and your old regcode. When they verify it, you can download it straight away.

    A "régi" sceneryhez nagyon izmos gép kellett, és még azon is igen szaggatott a kép. ( 2 GHZ, 512RAM, 128M Nvidia4000) Várható javulás az új scenerytől, vagy mivel jóval részletesebbnek néz ki, így sajna csak a nagyon turbós masinákon futva lesz élvezetes. A jpg képek alapján tényleg nagyon szép!

    Persze. Én csak egy dolgot garantálhatok, s azt meg is teszem, amennyire a mennyiség/sebesség arány engedi ennél gyorsabb sceneryt egyszerűen nem lehet MA készíteni.

    Nekem egy p4-2.8-asom van és full setting alatt sosem kapok kevesebb frémet mint 30. Az előző változat az FS2000-hez készült és csak "átmenetileg" tettem Fs2002 kompatibilissé. Ez az új egy egészen más történet, ez már 2002 alá készült.

    It was quite clearly stated here.

    "The scenery will be available on simmarket.com in a very short time. Those who bought the previous version (ME-Millennium Edition) after the 31st if August 2002 will get the upgrade free and will only have to cover postal charges of getting a new CD."

    Now i purchased mine on the 9th September 2002. Therefore according to all that i read, i'm entitled to a free upgrade.

    Again i'm seeing a contradictory statement.

    If you bought it in September, you need to get a free update, there's no doubt about that. Now what's the actual problem? Please tell me, because I just can't get it...

    You now use the term Purchase. I see this as a very contradictory statement to the latter. Which i invite you to sort out. As i'm sure that this practice is totally unacceptable in the eyes of the British Trading Standards and probably other European trading Standards.

    No, sorry this is not what I'm saying. Actually this is not my territory, but simmarket's, but anyhow it is clearly stated, that the upgrade is free only for those who bought the previous version before the 31st of August 2002.

    The rest of your message is a bit unclear to me with the expired download link.

    I just saw the screenshots of Budapest 2003. It looks pretty good but what about the frame rate with such a complex scenery ?

    The only - subjective - thing that I can say is, that apart from the fact that what quantity of stuff this scenery contains, it is way faster than many single airport sceneries you recently saw. Try it.

    I'm dissapointed to see that the previous buyers of Budapest ME can't download the upgrade to Budapest 2003.

    What is the reason for this?

    The reason is simple, it is a brand new product, which took more than 5 months of work (18-20 hours a day) to accomplish.

    I guess nobody expects authors and designers to work months for free, and believe me, even if we get some compensation for our effort, the financial end-result is such, that you would certainly not work a forthnight for that...

    Az upgrade csak azok számára ingyenes, akik 2002 Augusztusa után vették meg az előző verziót.

    Ezt elsősorban a külföldi userek miatt kellett így csinálnunk, sajnos a rendkívül kis számú magyar userek esetében ez egyszerűbben működik, mivel az elműlt több mint egy évben itthon senki sem vette már meg. Imígyen ha ingyen adnánk azoknak akik a magyar verziót két éve megvették, akkor sajnos szinte mindenkinek ingyen kellene odaadnunk, amit nem engedhetünk meg magunknak.
