Te Garmin 530 is already done ( in 2 parts), part 1 is here: http://secure.simmarket.com/product_infcts_id=439
and part 2 : http://secure.simmarket.com/product_infcts_id=468
I am not sure about the RealtyXP offering, as far as I know it has not been done yet (at least not for FS2004). (?)

I'll pass it on to my tutorial guru, Rob

Bertvk, for general news you should look on the simFlight news page: http://www.simflight.com/news5/index.php
For 'bush news' you can check the simFlight forums
FSAddon is a publisher, so is Abacus. This is the FSAddon Support forum. We do not advertise each other's products

The real question is whether or not Richard Goldstein (Emma/Georender) series is going with them or not.
Kofi :)
'probably not' is the answer Kofi. But don't worry..... Richard is 'safe' And so are the customers of GeoRender..... although they might have to get used to a new name :D

Hi Terry,
Oh man... that is too bad, sorry to hear it.
We all hope you'll get better soon...... don't worry about some silly files, now hear !?
I wish you a Merry Christmas anyway..... and once you are better, a very Happy New Year.
Also a good moment to say THANKS for your contribution to Emma Field in specific and the FS community in general!!! :!: :!:
Warm regards,
Francois

The past year was absolutely great in terms of flightsimming and especially within the Emma Field Flying Club !!
I would like to thank you all (members and visitors) for being here, and making EFFC the BIGGEST virtual flying club around !!! But not only that.... it is also one of the friendliest places to hang out. And a place where everybody gets help, no matter what the question is.....
So I wish everybody a very
MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR !
Hope to see you all back in 2004, and so does Fritz !!!

To all 'bush pilots'

ROFL.... that's what I get from conversing with Glenn too much..... hahaha !

Good to hear on your website Maddy.. lots of luck with it ;-)
As for Courchevel.... work has already started on a series of such airports. I will be in France next week to buy additional satellite pictures for the development. We are working on building a series of such airports, and the quality will be exactly like Emma Field or better
Work is not past design phase yet, so no way you're going to get a planned release date from us   I can only tell you it will be worth waiting for.
Kind regards,
Francois

Just to add something to the fun...... in the FSHost documentation it also states that FSNAVIGATOR has a negative effect on the Multiplayer session. Not only does it take up an ADDITIONAL 'pilot spot', (not that big a problem), but it also makes the server do updates for it, thus downgrading performance !!
An even bigger problem is caused by the fact that the update rate of the MP session is driven by the FPS SETTINGS of each player.
So yes, please limit to 23 or so. Unlimited means that the server will try to update ALL sessions 99 times a second.....!!!
That will really hurt us !!
By the way... we have rented a new server and are in the process of setting it up for FSHost as well...... next year Emma Field will have its own FSHost server if all goes well.
That will take the strain off the volunteers such as Terry and Jeff and provide even more places to go to if any one of them is down :D

Thanks Don, the same to you, your family and your duck !! :D :D

LOLNow THERE's a Plan !! (Beats quitting smoking anyway for a lot of folks.... ).
I used to go to Flightsim and Avsim first thing in the morning... DAILY.... when I first got my ISDN connection... and downloaded all them wonderful freeware files.. aircraft, scenery, utilities.
Then spent most of the day unpacking, installing, trying, forgetting to document them....... etc.
I was an ADDICT !! ;-)
Fortunately, I now don't have the TIME to do it anymore, and that made me realize that FOR ME that was NOT the best way of enjoying FS.
But then again, it can be different in so many ways fo so many people..... this is just us ol' grumpies telling your our opinion of course...

Yup, well, that's a matter of self-discipline on the one side.. and limiting yourself to a certain way and place of flying on the other.
When I was still doing 'serious flying'. I limited myself to one area (it was around Ketchikan Alaska, with the BFU club at the time for instance), and pretended as much as possible to be a real-life pilot.. with just one plane, one airfield to operate from, and a fixed number of guys around me.
That worked :D
In my current 'job' I load more stuff onto my hard disk than I can find back again.... so I am as bad as anyone of course. One reason I enjoy the simple aircraft like Bill's Cubs and the likes.

It'll be fun finding it without AFCAD... as long as we don't run out of fuel
-
There goes your plan of 'slimming down' your hangar contents, buddy !!!
-
Thanks Joe :D

I am working on a new website.. one that can be controlled (we 'outsourced' the original ones  ).
You can still find it at http://emmafield.simflight.com/ including the application form :-)

Well, you should've asked Stefan !!! :D
I am using a program that is called FS_Quicklaunch (for more than a year now). You can find it on Avsim, it was written by Gregg Baker and does the same thing as RunOptions.
It even lets you choose a 'delay time' between starting the various programs (and you can assign any number of programs to be started) because it takes some time to open your browser for instance.
Best regards,
Francois

Same to you Joe !!! And a Happy New Year.... only a few more days to go now :D

Thanks for the nice pictures Alex.... it was a fun flight (although I joined later).
Funny that, forgetting to check my fuel when I took off from Packwood.... had been doing some short field testing with quarter tanks.
Now is was biting my nails circling over Packwood, running on fumes and waiting for the last of the pilots to land....... had some problems with my mike it seemd, wasn't sure folks could hear me.
Anyway, I landed as a true bush pilot..... what runway !!?? I have tundra tires !!
The trip to Ranger Creek was beautiful, although now with full tanks (will I ever get it right !!?? ) I had some trouble clearing the mountain ridge... Alex was right to stay to the right of them
The trees at Ranger Creek make it an interesting approach. Having been there often I just flew straight in and landed, somehow before anybody else.
After me came SnowBird... who did a good immitation of a landing swan...... never stopping until he disappeared in the woods at the end of the runway
Fun flying, sorry not to have more time, but good to see so many enthusiasts around !!
