What are Mathijs and Sjaakie doing in all these pictures ???

Nope... not Aerosoft..... but definitely European :D

This one is not as 'cosy' as Emma Field.... and represents an existing field, with all its buildings, mountains, roads and boats..... so not sure it would replace it..... But who knows... ?
Same designer, new location, new series, new publisher :D New customers !!?? :D

I bought the Gazetteer two years ago and learned a lot from it. I recently also ran in to an (ex) native of Alaska and he only strenghtened my desire to visit that wonderful state at least once before I can no longer do so..... planning continues

LOL...... nope.... nearer the bush..... try the West......

Bingo Dexter !!! Orcas is right..... (you peeked at Richard's site? :) )

ROFLMAO !! Too bad, I could use something like that 'meself'

Going from 2.66 to 2.8 Ghz does not make sense (that is what you are thinking of??). I don't think there is much sense in upgrading anyway, looking at your system specs. You are pretty top of the line in many respects and getting higher will cost you more than it is worth. Better wait a year.....

When taking off from this little airport you are not in thebush.. but close enough.. have a peak folks

Yes Jaap, I am with Chaders on this one. The 1.7 is not ideal but will be able to hold up for a while longer... the memory is KEY, 256 is just not enough for FS2004. And the MX card is indeed very dated.
I am assuming you are running Windows 98 or ME on that box?
The ideal is to buy a new machine of course, but then you are looking at some 1200 - 1400 Euros for a good system (that is with 2.8 - 3.0 Ghz, 1 Gb of mem, top vidcard and Windows XP). Mostly a financial issue I would say ;-)
Kind regards,
Francois

Following many earlier post on a variety of forums I already had adapted my settings accordingly. But this guide indeed is very good and gives an excellent overview of the techniques for those that are not up-to-date. Good catch ! :)

You can now VOTE for your favorite FS website, FS forum site and many more FS related products and companies on the special Virtual Flight web pages. simFlight and simMarket are of course very happy and proud to have been nominated in so many categories, and here is your chance to show your preference for our sites and work. This is also a great time for us to say 'THANK YOU' for your continued support of our websites and FS services!! You can vote for several categories, once for each of course, and the voting page can be found by clicking here ! http://aw2003.vflight.org/aw2003

Yep, it is that time of the year again. We are still expanding in number of readers and page hits and in number of sites and activities.
So the workload for the current teams is getting out of hand and we could do with a few 'extra hands'.
What are we looking for?
News Editors !
Folks that KNOW the flightsim industry, know their way around on the internet and know where to find interesting flightsim news bits.
And of course, people that are FLUENT in writing English and have a good vocabulary.
Only very limited computer/web skills are needed.. our news editor software is pretty easy to work with.
If you are interested, then please send your data to François Dumas.
Your email should include:
Full name, location, age, FS experience, previous writing experience and a few lines telling me why we would want to employ you as a simFlight Editor !!
You will not get rich from this work, because nobody is going to pay you, but..... there are some 'indirect' benefits when working for simFlight !
Send emails to francois@simflight.com

Hi Lucas,
welcome to our forums.... a few visits (especially to this Emma Field forum  ) will quickly give you the 'feel' of what this is about... Basically what you sense in this forum is the same you would sense in your flying club's club house or pilots room..... at least, that is the intention.
I read some of your posts on other forums... and about your dad. I wish you a safe flight around the world..... for real or simulated... and hope you'll find the time to visit EFC more often, get on-line, or just yap in the forums from time to time.
Happy Flying,
Francois
