  1. Thanks Pete! Will do. From past usage (CH Pedals) I liked being able to put in a slope on the brakes so they wouldn't be "twitchy". I'm sure the new PFC ones will be much more precise/proportional so that a little depress won't result in a sudden stop. Best- C
  2. Thanks Pete- From your answer I'm assuming there's already some sort of slope applied to the brakes in PFCFSX.dll? C
  3. Pete- Unlike the FSUIPC settings, the PFCFSX.dll does not have slope for the brake axis'. Would it be possible to add them here, or should I just use FSUIPC for that? Ta! Carl
  4. Thanks Pete- arrives this week... will report back. C
  5. Pete- I use your PFCFSX.dll for my Cirrus II console + pedals. I just ordered their 737 module with separate spoiler, reversers, throttles and flap axis. Do I just select that quadrant in the PFC module or is there more needed through FSUIPC? I remember reading that the spoiler needs to be mapped in flight so that it actuates properly. Also, I plan on the first tiny movement of each reverser axis sending an F1 command so that ground idle can be reached w/ the NGX. Any tips..... It arrives this week.... Hope 2013 is a wonderful year for you! Best- Carl
  6. If not.... Are you working on something Pete? Hope you had a restful vacation...... Best- C
  7. No- only needed for serial versions. FSUIPC controls everything.....detected via USB.
  8. Pete- Welcome back! Will try- Guenter was nice enough to write a little UTC time sync program for me and I'd very much like to use it.
  9. Anyone running PFC Serial AND LINDA? Please advise how it's working (together). Ta!
  10. Guenter- 'tis I, the one whom you wrote the UTC time sync lua for :). Trying to make it work, but NOTHING from my console shows up in LINDA so what do I do, run LINDA just for the time sync? Thank you again sir, for your valuable contributions to our hobby.
  11. Hi- As I need PFCFSX.dll for my serial version Cirrus Console II to run, and (after checking) as It does not show up in LINDA as a joystick..... What is the correct procedure? Do I just use LINDA for other panels and not for yoke, pedals and ALL the mapped switch/button presses? Is there a way to get LINDA to "see" my axis'? Ta! C
  12. Pete- I did as you suggested, and bought FS Real Time. After using it for a bit, I would much rather have an addition to FSUIPC do this via a tick box in the existing modules, rather than run another program. As they already distribute FSUIPC with their download, I'm guessing they are friends.....would it be possible to have that addition to FSUIPC incorporated? You could set it so it works ONLY if you have PURCHASED FS Real Time- thereby not disrupting the current relationship...... just a thought. Hope all is well at your end? Are you getting time to relax as you had hoped? C
  13. Ok Pete....will do....just wanted to avoid yet another module.... Ta! C
  14. Pete- Would you be able to add a time sync option to FSUIPC (such as the current system time sync) where FSX always starts with UTC? Would appreciate it if possible..... Ta! Carl
  15. Jimmy- I did exactly that- no regrets- it's worth every penny....and then some! Best- Carl
  16. LMK what you think Pete............ glad they chimed in! C
  17. Pete- While searching for a driver for my Aerosoft Australia MCP to make it work with the NGX I came across this. Now that the SDK is out, do you think its possible to write a driver for the EFIS,MCP,EICAS? I have looked and looked but there doesn't seem to be anything at the moment and both Andrew and Lefteris are not interested at the moment.................... Ta!| C
  18. Pete- Saw this............and then saw it requires FSUIPC. I'm interested, especially if it will allow me to display the CDU on a networked machine........ Since it requires FSUIPC I thought you would know and be able to guide............any good? http://www.opussoftware.co.uk/opusfsi.htm C
  19. Pete- Having no success.... even with HID Macros..... Perhaps just getting a programmable keypad such as an X-stick is the way..... Fenteck and Genovation seem to stick out.... C
  20. Thanks Pete! Will try and and see. Best I can understand right now the keypad is detected by Win 7 (USB) as I get the message that Win & loaded drivers for it. Then I think its just a COPY of the 30 some odd keys that are already on the keyboard. Perhaps the HIDMacro will be just fine. I will test it and let you know after work this evening. FSUIPC does NOT see the buttons and this confuses me because I thought it would at least see it as the default button press......... the large blue butterfly keys are apparently just the QWEASD keys as I guess they are used a lot for movement in FPS games. Will keep you informed......ta! C
  21. Pete- I purchased this- http://www.cybersnipa.com/us/gaming-keyboards/gamepad.php I would like to MAP the various keys to send FS/EZCA appropriate keystroke commands. Is this possible? When I connected it and loaded FSX/FSUIPC I was not able to see the keypad buttons in the Button/Keystroke menus (unlike joystick buttons which show up). I'm guessing something/scripting will be needed- and being feeble minded- that terrifies me :) Would you have a couple of pointers....... is LUA the way? I started reading that section and I'm completely lost. Do I need to use something like - http://www.hidmacros.eu/whatisit.php or are you AS USUAL way ahead of me, and have written something in FSUIPC which will accomplish the same thing? Unfortunately- this device, is basically just another "copy" of the existing keys on the current keypad and I would like it to function as a "SECOND" input device (third if you count my mouse, fourth if you count my PFC Console etc....). Caveat Emptor! Thanks Pete! C
  22. Pete- To add button presses I was thinking of getting this (or something similar) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826246002 Will FSUIPC see this as a joystick controller (for assigned key-presses to the buttons)? Ta! C
  23. Ok Pete- Spoke with Bart and he suggested cleaning out the switch contacts. I blew electronic cleaner into the switch and blew it out with clean compressed air. Since then I have run the test several times and only get the correct outputs from that switch. Hopefully the problem is resolved. As always, your prompt attention and response is greatly appreciated! C
  24. Pete- I've started a new topic so as to not confuse the issue. My PFC Console II (serial) is programmed to send key presses with button pushes. In the case of the TOP RIGHT ROCKER- I am getting spurious inputs. I downloaded PFC's test program and when I run it I see that when that particular rocker is pressed repeatedly it shows- 9B 0F: CH code 15 9B 0F: CH code 3 9B 0F: CH code 15 9B 0F: CH code 3 and so on EXCEPT every once in a while it sends- 86 7C: Brake_L = 124 and then every once in a while it sends 86 7F: Brake_L = 127 and then back to the 9B 0F: CH code 15 & 3 repeating MY ISSUE IS THAT when I am using that key-press I get interactions in FSX. MY QUESTION IS- Is this happening because a) I have programmed something wrong (should I uncheck the PFC Console tick-box as I don't really use anything non-mapped through FSUIPC except the axis......)? B) is this a HARDWARE fault- i.e. BAD SWITCH? Thanks for your help- sorry for the earlier confusion. Best- Carl Here is the TEST program I am referring to - https://www.flypfc.c...Serial_test.exe Here are MY RESULTS- https://picasaweb.google.com/105562135054522268426/February232012?authkey=Gv1sRgCJjv9Kvzocf8Jw
