  1. Now that we have 3 FREE beagle Missions ready and Number 4 in the pipeline for release in December, i thought it a good idea to sum up the stories here.

    The real world:

150 years after the publication of Darwin's book On the Origin of Species, the sailship Clipper Stad Amsterdam, by request of the VPRO Television, sails out following the

route of the HMS Beagle. Over the course of a 35-part series titled “Beagle: On the future of species,” the authentic clipper and its crew will recreate the voyage partly as a

tribute to Charles Darwin but primarily as a scientific exploration, answering the questions, “Is there reason to worry about the future? Can science offer us sufficient answers to

some of our most compelling questions? Are we leaving behind an inhabitable world for future generations?”

    The Flight Simulator world:

Two experienced pilots - you are one of them - have been hired by the VPRO television to follow their journey to be at hand for

special services via air. You will fly round the world in many different aircraft.

    Beagle Spain (Part 1) released

This is the start of the series.

Packed with scientists, writers, artists and officials, The Clipper Stad Amsterdam has left Plymouth (GB). For a journey around the world. You join this journey in your own way,

making yourself usefull, giving air assistance.

You meet your co-pilot Chip, also a highly experienced pilot and make your first flight together.

To get the feeling, and to meet the ship at sea, you start the mighty engines of the Grumman Goose.

    Beagle Spain (Part 2) released

You are situated at Airport La Coruna in Spain, your plane is the

trustworthy grumman Goose again. At La Coruna you load Medicin Pods for a sistership The City of Hamburg and several cases with new instruments, spare parts, food for

    the Clipper Stad Amsterdam.

Bad weather, much rain, low ceiling. This exciting occasion is a great opportunity to "challenge your skills" as pilot in command.

    Beagle Brazil (Part 1) released

After a pleasant evening with your buddy Chip in Rio de Janeiro's nightlife, you find yourself

very unsure and hardly able to face the situation you are in.

Chip is the first to react and from there things take a surprising turn. The weather is not too bad.

The Clipper Amsterdam is waiting for you. The Douglas DC3 is very reliable. But how are reliable you?

Beagle Brazil (Part 2) to be released in December

What is it you are so attracted to in Rio's Copacabana, the classy beach district, the big hotels? Or is there more? Anyway, this day also starts in Rio.

You got your briefing from "the company" yesterday afternoon already and instructions are as clear as a bell. Stay alert, be there for us.

We need your help, not only for the usual transport. There's more. Lost things, old things, very old things...

Your plane is the small very reliable - bush loving - Maule.

  2. Hi again,

thanks Johann, it's against my character but i have to admit I can't find a solution for this.

Mission 3 and 4 will hopefully come during November. Not being professionals in this field, it always takes us a lot

of time to produce them. But gives a lot of fun too :D

    Cheers,

    ruud

  3. Hi Johann,

thanks for the nice words! We had a lot of fun too, making them :)

About your issue, you are the first to experience this. ( over 2000 downloads).

Could you delete the mission and install again?

or even better, download a fresh one first.

I honestly have no idea what happens at your end.

Would be a pity if you can't get it running.

    Thanks,

ruud ( for the old boys gang )

PS: Anybody else got this problem?

  4. Hi,

    no worries.

FScene X = used by Just Flight

    FScene4X= our own "branding"

all essentials are in both, same updating.

FScene4X uses different installers, somewhat different way of installing. The result is the same though.

    Have fun!

    ruud
