  1. Hi, WideFS is installed on a networked computer which allows certain 3rd party software to run on the networked computer and connect to FS04 through FSUIPC. It will never show up in FS04. I am not sure why you purchased WideFS?
  2. Hi, It's not the PalmOs that is important but the software requirements of your program.
  3. Hi, Nope, it's due to Windows not recognizing your hardware. Get that fixed and you will be able to make progress.
  4. Just to add: if your details are gone they are in your account at SimMarket.
  5. Hi, If it can accept the standard data formats that GPSOuot sends and you have the proper cable then it can.
  6. Hi, Re-calebrate, but leave just a small amount of space at the bottom of the throttle.
  7. Hi, It's probably not the end of the world. Did you exactly enter the other information correctly? Pete is on holiday for a few weeks so other users are just helping out. You may also contact SimMarket and fill out a trouble ticket.
  8. All those programs listed except FS2004 need FSUIPC so leave it in the Modules folder. What version of FSUIPC do you have installed?
  9. Hi, Full functionality is different than not working at all. To get a registered version of FSUIPC you purchase a key from SimMarket.com. So what VOX is saying is that FSUIPC is needed, but for full functions you need to have the registered version of FSUIPC.
  10. I went to the VOX web site and see no mention of a need to register with FSUIPC. Have you posted/e-mailed them?
  11. Hi, Did you type in the code exactly? Sometimes a copy and paste works best.
  12. Hi, http://forums.simflight.com/viewtopic.php?t=30088
  13. Probably a response to this: http://forums.simflight.com/viewtopic.php?t=42855
  14. So the authorized guages that were denied access to FSUIPC has nothing to do with this?
  15. Hi Pete, It was solved, but this one instance has surfaced. Here is the explanation. I bring this here so you don't need to jump from forum to forum. "Hello, although i'm a real big fan of active sky, this is already the third time i am writing on this issue, the former times I resolved the problem by reinstalling the whole package, which is somehow a pain. Active radar after a certain time always stops displaying rain and snow, even if it is mentioning rain and precipitation in the tracking reports of active radar, specially after not authorized gauges from freeware planes are trying to access fsuipc and were denied access. I suspect somehow there is a connection between the two things ( who I have to enter an Authorization code into fsuipc to fix that or how could it be resolved, in fact the weather radar is one of the nicer parts of active sky, and it is pity for me if it doesn't work . any ideas? thansk Kurt"
  16. Hi Pete, It's a situation where Active Radar will work for a few sessions and then stop working, only to be fixed by a reinstall of Active Sky. But he has also noted that this seems to be linked to a problem with some freeware guages, hence the request for his log. I was hoping that the log would show something. What I am going to do is post a link to this thread and he can continue over here.
  17. Hi Pete, Trying to troubleshoot a problem for a Active Radar user. Does this FSUIPC log look correct? 18. Your rudeness is uncalled for. You can climb back under your rock at any time.
  19. There is a post awhile back explaining how to get the usb port to work with GPSOut.
  20. Hi captkidd, Looks like the thin stratus that Pete mentioned. We at Active Sky call it the FS9Haze Layer. Using Active Sky 2004.5 you can have the option of turning this Off or On.
  21. Hi, UT, no. Active Sky, yes. Wide FS allows certain external programs to run on a second machine. AI Traffic will always lower FPS as will heavy AS weather.
  22. Hi, Possible issues not related to FSUIPC: Do you have any 3rd party clouds installed that require Render to Texture to be checked off? Have you changed the weather.dll file? Did you just install the FS patch?
