Thanks for the leads. They made my head spin :) I went ahead and installed it without any conflicts with Orcas or Emma.

Has anyone installed this freeware? If so, did it mesh nicely with airfields such as Emma and Orca addon's? I'm really itching to install this, but don't want to complicate things. Once I install it, is it easy to uninstall if there are problems? (it has an auto install, so I don't know what folders to back up)

The Emma traffic is not achieved the same way as FS AI traffic, it uses a seperate system called Intlliscene or something like that, anyway the upshot is that as far as FS goes it does not exist so no radio traffic from it. Just have to keep your eyes peeled

I just completed a flight from Orca to Emma and upon entering the downwind leg from a 45 I almost rear ended a 152 doing pattern work. So obviously, I have myself some traffic now :) That being said, I almost rear ended him because the AI was not making traffic calls. Is this normal? Some a/c are equiped with radio, some are not at Emma?

Thank you! I haven't been able to test it as I have to head to work, but a quick check revealed my dynamic add on scenery box was not checked! (smacks head). I loaded in real quick and saw a truck setting up the tow, which I had never seen, so that is a good indication of success. Emma and Orca are my first add ons, so I guess it just didn't cross my mind.

I'll test later to check for other airplane traffic.

I have logged a good bit of time in the pattern at Emma during different times/days and have yet to see traffic coming, going or taxiing. I have dynamic aircraft checked. I also have MyTraffic2004 installed, could this be a problem?

Am I allowed to drop in on a online session to fly with you folks before I get an EFC number or is that not allowed? I've never been online with FS before, so I'm looking forward to getting it started (aka, figuring out how to do it :wink: )

While I love the freeware like Lindy, I am looking forward to getting Emma, Orca and either a Georender or FSE. Is Mark's scenery going to require FSE? I'm not sure whether to pick up a georender or FSE first. And if I get a georender, which one!? Hehe, so many decisions with so limited funds. I noticed the Emma Field tour III uses Georender 5 and 6. If you purchased one for now, which would it be?

Anyhow, sorry for all the questions. I can't wait to fly online with some fellow enthusiasts.

Hello everyone, I have an email into Francois to get assigned a member number, but as I understand it, he is out of touch for a bit.

I just wanted to introduce myself to everyone and let you know that I look forward to joining you online. It seems you all have a wonderful thing going here and I hope I can add to and be a part of it.

I am a RL private pilot as well as a Helo student. I have been simming for a while, but this would be my first dip into the community/online aspect of it.

Couple quick questions:

1) What are the basic addons most members have? (Emma and Orca?)

2) Do I need Gerrish Trees for Emma Field?

3) Do I need FSE to enjoy all the extras put in by those who design using it?
