  1. I think the latest LINDA module for this aircraft will do this on the MCPII (I think requires registered FSUIPC).
  2. Is it possible to toggle these settings on and off with a hot key? Is it also possible to toggle the traffic slider on and off with a hot key? (This I think is a yes). Why would I ask? Well the new live traffic program PSXseecon will inject live traffic into the sim but does not play nice with traffic limiters or if the AI settings in the sim are above zero. The issue is that if you want to combine Live Traffic and Vatsim traffic you have to set up either all or nothing of one or the other. In a situation where you may be starting out on Vatsim at a busy airport (EGLL, KJFK, etc.) you would want to turn off live traffic and see the actual Vatsim traffic, however, once away from your departure airport on on to perhaps a destination with no Vatsim traffic as well as very little enroute Vatsim traffic it would be preferrable to turn on the live traffic.
  3. FSUIPC was writing to the correct location. I read on another thread to delete the Prepar3D_default.fxml and Prepar3D_default.wx located in the Appdata\local\Locheed Martin\Prepar3D v3 folder so they can rebuild. After I did this everything worked as per normal.
  4. I have a really odd issue that I don't recall ever seeing before. I am on P3D version 3.4 and today after a sim crash I went to load the flight from Autosave and there were no files available. I double checked that FSUIPC was setup correctly (which it was) and the only thing I could find was one file with the date 1/01/01 and time 00:00. Has anyone else reported this issue and if so is there a fix ?
  5. I will double check my most recent Acronis backup to see if it captured the older log file. As for the No SimConnect, I have not noticed this before. The low memory was an anomoly. I had just installed MyTraffic 6 and loaded up the PMDG777 at a payware airport with lots of traffic just to look around. this was the result so I clearly need to do some fine tuning.
  6. Pete, here is the log file from FSUIPC as requested in the Avsim discussion. Unfortunately the log from the crash is no longer there. The windows crash information is also included below. Hope this helps. ********* FSUIPC4, Version 4.939k by Pete Dowson ********* Reading options from "F:\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX\Modules\FSUIPC4.ini" Running inside FSX Steam Edition on Windows 7 Module base=64730000 User Name="M" User Addr="m@gmail.com" FSUIPC4 Key is provided WideFS7 Key is provided 47 System time = 24/04/2015 17:59:05 63 FLT UNC path = "\\CONCORDE\Users\Mark\Documents\Flight Simulator X - Steam Edition Files\" 94 Trying to connect to SimConnect Steam ... 125 FS UNC path = "\\CONCORDE\FSX2\" 437 Run: "F:\Flight Simulator X\Modules\FSXAero.bat" 437 LogOptions=00000000 00000001 437 --- CONTROLS timer memory location obtained ok 453 --- SIM1 Frictions access gained 453 ASN active function link set 453 VRI port 1 "com3" failed to open 468 --- FS Controls Table located ok 468 --- Installed Mouse Macro hooks ok. 468 Wind smoothing may be by ASN, not FSUIPC, if it is running 468 Will switch smoothing action when ASN starts/stops 468 SimConnect_Open succeeded: waiting to check version okay 468 Trying to use SimConnect Steam 2356 Running in "Microsoft Flight Simulator X", Version: 10.0.62613.0 (SimConnect: 10.0.62613.0) 2356 Initialising SimConnect data requests now 2356 FSUIPC Menu entry added 2387 \\CONCORDE\Flight Simulator X Files\CYXU Baron Default.FLT 2387 \\CONCORDE\FSX2\SimObjects\Airplanes\beech_baron_58\beech_baron_58.air 5648 Weather Mode now = Custom 32714 \\CONCORDE\FSX2\SimObjects\Airplanes\PMDG 777-300ER\B777-300ER.air 87751 System time = 24/04/2015 18:00:33, Simulator time = 17:59:10 (21:59Z) 87798 Aircraft="PMDG 777-367ER Cathay Pacific Airways (Asia's World City)" 100013 Starting everything now ... 100028 LUA.0: beginning "F:\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX\Modules\ipcReady.lua" 100028 LUA.0: ended "F:\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX\Modules\ipcReady.lua" 100028 LUA.1: 100028 LUA.1: ************************** START ************************* 100028 LUA.1: [sTART]LINDA:: Loading... 100044 LUA.1: LINDA:: [sTART] VRInsight MCP Set = mcp2 100153 LUA.1: LINDA:: [sTART] New Aircraft Selected - restarting... 100169 LUA.1: LINDA:: [sTART] Aircraft: PMDG 777-367ER Cathay Pacific Airwa 100169 LUA.1: LINDA:: [sTART] Air file: \\CONCORDE\FSX2\SimObjects\Airplanes\PMDG 777-300ER\B777-300ER.air 100247 LUA.1: LINDA:: [sTART] Aircraft module detected: PMDG 777 100387 LUA.0: LINDA:: [iNIT] Starting Initialisation... 100387 LUA.0: LINDA:: [iNIT] loading optional library: linda/libs/lib-aivlasoft 100387 LUA.0: LINDA:: [LIB] AivlaSoft library loaded... 100387 LUA.0: LINDA:: [iNIT] loading optional library: linda/libs/lib-ATC 100387 LUA.0: LINDA:: [LIB] ATC library loaded... 100403 LUA.0: LINDA:: [iNIT] loading optional library: linda/libs/lib-fallback 100403 LUA.0: LINDA:: [LIB] FSX standard library loaded... 100403 LUA.0: LINDA:: [iNIT] loading optional library: linda/libs/lib-FS2Crew 100403 LUA.0: LINDA:: [LIB] FS2Crew library loaded... 100403 LUA.0: LINDA:: [iNIT] loading optional library: linda/libs/lib-fsx 100418 LUA.0: LINDA:: [LIB] FSX Functions loaded... 100449 LUA.0: LINDA:: [iNIT] loading optional library: linda/libs/lib-IVAO 100449 LUA.0: LINDA:: [LIB] IVAO library loaded... 100465 LUA.0: LINDA:: [iNIT] loading optional library: linda/libs/lib-realityxp 100465 LUA.0: LINDA:: [LIB] RealityXP library loaded... 100465 LUA.0: LINDA:: [iNIT] loading optional library: linda/libs/lib-saitek 100465 LUA.0: LINDA:: [iNIT] loading optional library: linda/libs/lib-user 100465 LUA.0: LINDA:: [LIB] User Library loaded... 100465 LUA.0: LINDA:: [iNIT] loading optional library: linda/libs/lib-VATSIM 100465 LUA.0: LINDA:: [LIB] VATSIM library loaded... 100465 LUA.0: LINDA:: [iNIT] loading optional library: linda/libs/lib-vrinsight 100481 LUA.0: LINDA:: [LIB] VRInsight Function Library loaded... 100481 LUA.0: LINDA:: [iNIT] loading optional library: linda/libs/lib-weather 100481 LUA.0: LINDA:: [LIB] Weather library loaded... 100481 LUA.0: LINDA:: [iNIT] loading optional library: linda/libs/_lib-user 100481 LUA.0: LINDA:: [iNIT] loading optional library: linda/libs/lib-a2amap 100481 LUA.0: LINDA:: [LIB] A2A MAP library loaded... 100481 LUA.0: LINDA:: [iNIT] Initializing Common Variables... 100527 LUA.0: LINDA:: [iNIT] User GLOBAL config loaded... 100527 LUA.0: LINDA:: [uSER] User's modifications script is loaded... 100527 LUA.0: LINDA:: [iNIT] User FUNCTIONS loaded... 100527 LUA.0: LINDA:: [iNIT] VRI MCP config loaded... 100543 LUA.0: LINDA:: [iNIT] Finalising Initialisation... 101229 LUA.0: LINDA:: [COMM] Checking VRI 101245 LUA.0: LINDA:: [COMM] Enabling VRI 101245 LUA.0: LINDA:: [COMM] ConnectMCP - Connecting to MCP Panel... 101245 LUA.0: LINDA:: ---> ERROR:: [COMM] Could not open MCP Combo port!
