pap Posted May 8, 2004 Report Posted May 8, 2004 Hello! I have finished Gear section in my cockpit (747-400) and now I want to figure out what I can do with this. Is it possible to produce some "Gear Faults" by FSUIPC? Until now I only use Offset 0BE8 to control gear up and down. Writing to Offsets 0BEC, 0BF0, 0BF4 seems not to work. So I cant "produce" a gear fault, wich does not move one of the gears. In 747-400 there is the possibility to extend gear by a second system (nose gear extra, main gear extra) if main fails. Does anybody have experience in this system? Or any Ideas? Thaks for help Peter

pap Posted May 10, 2004 Author Report Posted May 10, 2004 Thanks! But what does "Ctrl G" do in FS004? There seems to be a possibility but I cant firure it out. Peter
Frank.O Posted May 10, 2004 Report Posted May 10, 2004 Hi Peter, But what does "Ctrl G" do in FS004? isn't "Ctrl G" the keystroke to "manually pump the landing gear"? I assume this is meant to be used when you have set the realism settings to allow for failures and the sim has failed the hydraulic system so you can't lower the gear with the gear switch you would normally use. Regards, Frank
