stevieiz Posted October 2, 2015 Report Posted October 2, 2015 Hi Folks, Reinstallation going well apart from FSUIPC wont let me register. It says there is a more recent version then the registration page does not come up. Greyed out with I go to Fsuipc within P3D. Any thoughts. Thanks S
BoxxMann Posted October 2, 2015 Report Posted October 2, 2015 (edited) I was able to install FSUIPC for P3D v3 (running window 7). I got the error message, clicked OK and it rolled on. I am able to access FSUIPC within P3D v3. I wanted to bind "Spoiler Toggle" to a button, but that function isn't there. Edited October 3, 2015 by BoxxMann
aeronauta Posted October 2, 2015 Report Posted October 2, 2015 (edited) There are a lot of FSX Controls in the dropdown missing when you compare to a P3D V2.5 , I dont know how to solve this ..Is this a P3D or FSUIPC problem?? ,I also have the error but clicking OK carries on and installs ...maybe not OK??? I am on 4.945a Jorge PS will wait for Pete to come back refreshed!!! Edited October 3, 2015 by aeronauta
aeronauta Posted October 3, 2015 Report Posted October 3, 2015 Now that I think about it, it has to be P3DV3 as it works OK in V2.5... Jorge
twharrell Posted October 3, 2015 Report Posted October 3, 2015 I get the same issues noted above. FSUIPC also not asking me to register after installation in P3Dv3 and several offsets not available in assigning buttons. Additionally, I get a fatal error message every time I close P3D. After removing FSUIPC, no more fatal errors. Will wait for Pete. Todd
RCFlyer Posted October 3, 2015 Report Posted October 3, 2015 Are you guys using 4.495a version? I am and it is working with no issues in P3DV3. My OS is Windows 10. Danny
Roland Posted October 3, 2015 Report Posted October 3, 2015 yes 4.495a works in P3DV3 and several names of controls are missing. But, if you just copy your FSUIPC4.ini from P3DV2.5 to modules in PrDV3 all your assignments will work. You'll have to do some editing regarding pathnames in the ini (I.E I had to rename S:\P3D into S:\P3DV3) Just use the "find and restore" function of notepad editor.
ethanoost Posted October 4, 2015 Report Posted October 4, 2015 Hi I was about to start a new topic when I noticed this one. I run windows 10 and have just installed prepar3d v3. I downloaded FSUIPC 4.495a of the website and installed it. 1 - I got an error message saying the version of P3D is newer than what FSUIPC recognise. I clicked OK and as everone above, it finished the installation. 2 - I got no registration screen or option to register the product. 3 - Running P3D. I didnt notice anything different to before the installation. I cant find the dop down menu or anything related to FSUIPC or WideFS (which is what i want to use). Should a menu be added to the "Help" function like in all the previous versions? I cant find nothing. I checked and all the right folders and files have been copied into the right folders. Help will be appreciated.
Pete Dowson Posted October 4, 2015 Report Posted October 4, 2015 For P3D version 3 you need FSUIPC 4.946 or later! Pete

Pete Dowson Posted October 4, 2015 Report Posted October 4, 2015 Hmm. I suspect the uploaded copy got messed up somewhere. I've uploaded it again, and downloaded it and tested it, and it seems okay now. just try re-downloading please, from the Download Links subforum above. Pete
WotanUK Posted October 4, 2015 Report Posted October 4, 2015 Thanks Pete, all is working fine after re-downloading and installing. Great service...
