mic not recognized

Hi:  I am ahaving problems with pro.  I can hear everything through my external headset, and my computer recognized the mic, but tower3d does not.  I can get it to work with my internal mic but this is not always working well.  Any ideas how to get it recognize my external mic for commands?  I have windows 10 and my headset is lg Harman platinum which works well with the computer and which I have trained.  Thanks.

Please confirm with the internal muc Tower is picking up your commands.

yes the internal mic is working pretty well with the commands. I can hear thepilots on my external mic, just can't get my commands heard.

How can you "hear" anything on a mic?  A mic is supposed to hear you ;-)

So voice recognition never worked? Please try to run Tower as Admin.

voice recognition works quite well now with the internal mic just not at all with the external one.  I can play with the internal one but wondered how I might get the game to recognize the external one.

This might be a stupid question. Have you checked your default recording device in the Win10 sound settings?

Thanks Frank but yes it has been set on the right setting.  And themic works with my computer and several other programs, just not Tower.

Tower doesn't use any special code for microphone. If voice recog works with the internal mic then it works. If it doesn't recognise some extrnal mic or headset it's very likely caused by some other (non Tower) settings.
