Multiple Devices

Recommended Posts

Not sure if this fits into the topic of Multiple Devices, I am sure Pete or someone will let me know. I am a registered user of the amazing FSUIPC add-on.

I would like to be able to connect an external USB device - keyboard or number pad, as a permanent addition over the existing laptop keyboard and built-in number pad.

I would like to incorporate it in setting up assignments within the new Chase Plane camera system. I would be happy to participate in the beta trial for the new FSUIPC if that indeed is part of the end result.

Look forward to replies

Whilst a keyboard is usually a USB device, it is not a joystick device. Assignment in FSUIPC to keys is not related to any device or joystick scanning. You just assign to keys. I don't know of any keyboard which is not "external" in any case. ;-)

Multiple keyboards all look like the one keyboard. There is very little non-specialist software which can be set to treat different keyboards differently. You don't gain any extra keys over a standard extended keyboard.

The topic for multiple joystick devices is the one pinned at the top of the forum.
