But that version was design to fix problems most X-55 users had with FSUIPC 4.964 and before.  In fact one kind user donated his unused X-55 to me for working out exactly whay those problematic Saitek devices are so much trouble.

It is important to provide full details so things can be fixed and move on: never retreat to older versions that have other problems.

To this end please find the FS/P3D Modules folder and suppply the following files (ZIP them first if too large):

FSUIPC4.LOG
FSUIPC4.INI
FSUIPC4.Joyscan.csv

These files will help us help you.

hello again,

i think i found the Problem :

the Joystick disconneced also under Windows, not only when fsx is runnig, i tried several Settings and i compleetly deinstalled and reinstalled the saitek x55 Driver. I tried a short fly over 30 min and no disconnect.

I hope my Problems are solved, but what can i do when the Joystick is lost and disconnected under Windows ???

thx for your help again

That normally only happens if you have Wondows operating power saving on the USB hubs. That's controlled by a power management tab in the Properties of each USB hub in the USB section of the Windows Device Manager.

Also Windows 8 did have a problem with losing joystick devices in any case.

one more question (sorry) :

should i add the line "JOYSTICKS=0" und control-section in the fsx.cfg.

That is set by disabling controllers in the Options - Assignments section of the FSX options. So eiither way -- if you are assigning buttons and axes in FSUIPC.

Note that you can still Calibrate axes in FSUIPC even if you don't use it for axis and button assignment.
