Marcel Loureiro Saraiva Posted July 4, 2017 Report Posted July 4, 2017 Hello, i have many Problems with the new FSUIPC 4.969. The Version 4.964 was funtionally at best, but i dont have the exe file yet. Please can you send me the file at : m.loureiro-saraiva@gmx.de Thank you so much.
Thomas Richter Posted July 4, 2017 Report Posted July 4, 2017 Hi, there is no FSUIPC.exe file because FSUIPC ist not a standalone running program you can just start. Older FSUIPC.dll files are not available because they are not supported. Best is to describe your 'many problems' to help instead ! Thomas

Pete Dowson Posted July 4, 2017 Report Posted July 4, 2017 1 hour ago, Marcel Loureiro Saraiva said: with the new fsuipc.dll Version 4.969 my Joystick Saitek X55 lost the Connection But that version was design to fix problems most X-55 users had with FSUIPC 4.964 and before. In fact one kind user donated his unused X-55 to me for working out exactly whay those problematic Saitek devices are so much trouble. It is important to provide full details so things can be fixed and move on: never retreat to older versions that have other problems. To this end please find the FS/P3D Modules folder and suppply the following files (ZIP them first if too large): FSUIPC4.LOG FSUIPC4.INI FSUIPC4.Joyscan.csv These files will help us help you. Pete
Marcel Loureiro Saraiva Posted July 4, 2017 Author Report Posted July 4, 2017 Hi Pete, i made an clean install of fsuipc Version 4.969 ... now it seems to work. i changed my USB Port Settings. I had enhanced power mode enabled, so i think win8.1 was the Problem. Now will do some tests to validate. Thank you very much for your fast reply and help. Marcel
Marcel Loureiro Saraiva Posted July 5, 2017 Author Report Posted July 5, 2017 (edited) hello again, i think i found the Problem : the Joystick disconneced also under Windows, not only when fsx is runnig, i tried several Settings and i compleetly deinstalled and reinstalled the saitek x55 Driver. I tried a short fly over 30 min and no disconnect. I hope my Problems are solved, but what can i do when the Joystick is lost and disconnected under Windows ??? thx for your help again marcel Edited July 5, 2017 by Marcel Loureiro Saraiva
Pete Dowson Posted July 5, 2017 Report Posted July 5, 2017 3 hours ago, Marcel Loureiro Saraiva said: what can i do when the Joystick is lost and disconnected under Windows ??? That normally only happens if you have Wondows operating power saving on the USB hubs. That's controlled by a power management tab in the Properties of each USB hub in the USB section of the Windows Device Manager. Also Windows 8 did have a problem with losing joystick devices in any case. Pete
Marcel Loureiro Saraiva Posted July 6, 2017 Author Report Posted July 6, 2017 Hello Pete, thx again for your help. I know that Problem, so i disabled it for each usb device, and i made a complete reinstall of the x55 Driver, and i changed my usb-hob with external power. So know it seems there is no Joystick disconnect - so now i can Focus on flying not on solving Problems. marcel
Marcel Loureiro Saraiva Posted July 6, 2017 Author Report Posted July 6, 2017 one more question (sorry) : should i add the line "JOYSTICKS=0" und control-section in the fsx.cfg. thx Marcel

That is set by disabling controllers in the Options - Assignments section of the FSX options. So eiither way -- if you are assigning buttons and axes in FSUIPC. Note that you can still Calibrate axes in FSUIPC even if you don't use it for axis and button assignment. Pete
Marcel Loureiro Saraiva Posted July 7, 2017 Author Report Posted July 7, 2017 hi pete, i think i solved the Problem, after reinstalling the Driver for x55 and diabling the power Management under win8.1 the failure ist gone, i did 2 flights about 2-3 houres and no Problems. So thank you again Marcel
