shez
This has perplexed me for two weeks and I finally thought I would write here as it seems to be related to the FSUIPC module. Event: I launch P3D with the default flight F22 at KVPS. Weather clear skies. Fly around no issues. I then go to KBOS Boston. P3D freezes after three seconds. The same happens with many of the US Northeast airports and even in England. However, outside these areas no problem. I have uninstalled and reinstalled all of the P3D install modules one by one and no change. I have experimented a lot and found the only solution was to remove FSUIPC entry in the DLL.xml. I am attaching the necessary files text. Thomas Richter
Hi, did you try as well without ObjectPlacer and /or SpadNext and leaving FSUIPC5 active? Did you update or complete install P3Dv4.2? If updated, did you update more than only the Client (Content should be as well updated)? Pete Dowson
24 minutes ago, shez said: I launch P3D with the default flight F22 at KVPS. Weather clear skies. Fly around no issues. I then go to KBOS Boston. P3D freezes after three seconds. The same happens with many of the US Northeast airports and even in England. However, outside these areas no problem. FSUIPC really doesn't care where you are in the world and does nothing different at all dependening on location, so I really don't think it can be FSUIPC. Are all these airports add-ons, possibly using a common file? Are they from the same supplier?r are they default? What about other parts of the World, why only US NE and England? Which English airports, for instance. I have all of the UK2000 ones and have no problems (but I don't have any add-on airports for the US). The crash report indicates a crash in facilities.dll, part of P3D. I think you have a problem in your scenery installs or associated addons. It may seeem better without FSUIPC, but that could just be because FSUIPC does regularly ask P3D for airport facilities data so that it can provide applications with the nearest airport identifier. Also, as well as FSUIPC, you are running three other add-on DLLs internally: 39 minutes ago, shez said: LoadedModule[200]=C:\Program Files (x86)\12bPilot\SODE\SimObjectAnimationModule64.dll LoadedModule[201]=D:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\Modules\LHBP_objectPlacer64.dll LoadedModule[202]=D:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\modules\spdbridge64.dll There's really no way FSUIPC can force an error in n L-M module, but I am prettty sure that facilities.DLL is reading data in the Scenery BGLs. But I think those other DLLS might be also doing things airport scenery-related. In particular, make sure SODE is up to date. I'm not sure about the other two. Thomas I did try and shut down LHBP and SPAD in the DLL.xml but no impact. Freeze.

Pete This problem actually started after I installed the FlyTampa Boston addon. But there was some evidence before that the NY area was causing freezes. I will try and offload the airports completely and see. Shez
