FSUIPC 5 is not recognized

Recommended Posts

Hello Pete!
I have the following problem. Since I have my new PC FSIUPC 5 is not recognized after installation as it is, for example, with others.
This then results in some errors. My biggest problem is that the TCAS switch in the plane is no longer transferred to the IVAP box when you press the switch. Everything is activated. On my first PC, it was synonymous with no problems. When I start the IVAP installer, I am asked if I want to install a newer version of FSIUPC even though FSIUPC5 is installed.

FSIUPC details:

Installed Version: not installed

Version to install: 4.8.5.3

I wanted to attach a picture to this post but that did not work.

Here is my install log:

There is something odd here:

You want to install 4.8.5.3. Why? That is an old one, and aimed at FSX and P3D1-3. But your install log shows:

Installer for FSUIPC5.DLL version 5.14

and the Installer log shows a perfect install for FSUIPC5 in your P3D4 installation.

So what is this really about?

Pete

Hello.

I already wrote that which does not work.
I do not want to install the older version of FSIUPC. The installed version 5 would have to stand instead of not installed. And my transponder switch is not working. Had I been able to upload a picture then you would have seen that.
This is just an excerpt from the IVAO Ivap installation program.

"FSIUPC details:

Installed Version: not installed

Version to install: 4.8.5.3 "

Where "Not Installed" is my Installed Version5 to be seen?

In the past, this has always worked with the transponder switch.

Best regards,

Norman

The IVAP Installer is for 'FSX and Prepar3d' and is dated 25/12/2014, so is looking for FSUIPC4/P3Dv3.

There are instructions on how to install IVAP with P3Dv4 + FSUIPC5 here: https://flightsimeindhoven.com/prepar3d/install-ivap/

If you have installed correctly and are still having problems, you probably need to talk to the IVAO/Ivap support first.

Regards,

John
