Tower 3D Pro Reads text string with every transmission

I just bought Tower 3D Pro from Steam. Tried running the tutorial and every transmission is proceeded by a long text string that sounds like a file location before the call sign and the message. Any help is appreciated.

What is your OS, did you install anything else with it such as Real Color or Real Traffic?  Did you try to replace any of the files or data with custom information?  Have you tried removing it complete as well as the destination folder and letting steam reinstall it?

Are you running the exe as "administrator"?

i.e. Navigate to "C:\SteamClient\steamapps\common\Tower 3D Pro"

Or where ever your steam library is where you installed T3D.

Right click on the "tower3d.exe" > Compatibility tab > Under "Privilege Level", tick the box "Run this program as an administrator".

 

I would also check that you have run the Windows Voice Training Wizard:

I set both tower3d.exe and speechbrdige to run as administrator. I have an audio recording of what it's doing but it's to large to upload. I'm running windows 7 64 bit. I installed the program from Steam with KATL, KJFK, and KSAN add-ons. I don't think it has to do with Speech recognition. It's when the AI talks it reads some sort of file location before the actual message. It starts with "speech access"

I figured it out. Something to do with which voice the computer uses. I forced it to use Microsoft Ana and it started working.

Glad you got it working. Is there a male voice installed on your windows?

Wondering if that is what was causing the issue; the absence of a voice pack if T3D was set as "random" for the voice setting.
