pappyhep
Hello Pete, Is it possible to get my mcp combo ver 1 to communicate with/through fsuipc? I would like to be able to set the knobs to do what I tell them to. Right now the combo sees everything the way it should, but does not send anything to the simulator when I turn knobs, push buttons, etc. Linda seems to work fine. Appreciate your time, Don Hepler
John Dowson
If Linda works fine, why not use that? Does FSUIPC see your knobs/buttons (i.e. are they recognised in the buttons & switches assignment tab)? Are you using VRInsight drivers or software? pappyhep
Thanks for replying, Pete. FSUIPC does not see any of the knobs or buttons from from the MCP Combo. I have tried both reinstalling vrinsight software and also deleting it altogether. It's almost as if the received signal from the computer is getting through fine, but the sent signals are going somewhere else. Weird, huh? I understand how difficult it can be to diagnose something from afar but if you have any ideas where the signals could be going I'd certainly appreciate hearing them. A long-time...long, long, long-time...user of FSUIPC, ( does that make us friends?) Don Pappyhep Hepler

But as John says, use LINDA which you say works! Pete
pappyhep
Many thanks for your time. I'll check the com ports and eventually get this worked out. All the best to you and yours, Pappyhep
