This happened again yesterday after a crash of my game. It is quite annoying that I have to reset everything for every flight. Profile specific is checked in all my settings. So you assignments are still in the ini file but are not working? If so, could it be that new ids have been assigned to your joystick devices? Are you using the 'JoyLetters' facility (which will prevent assignments being lost if your joystick ids change for any reason, such as re-connecting a device to a different USB port). Maybe you can post you .ini and .log files and I'll take a look. Also make sure that you have power management turned off in your USB hubs, as otherwise windows may be putting your devices to sleep. KenjiDeboutte Posted August 31, 2020 Author Report Share Posted August 31, 2020 Hi, today something else happened, when I push a switch, it pushes the switch 2 times so nothing happens, when I push a 3 position switch in the cockpit, with a external 3 position switch, it clicks the knob several times, from position 1 to 3, also when I take a look in the button assignments, I can't make any changes anymore, everything is locked and it says: edit in the FSUIPC.INI file, but it's very annoying... You can edit or change multiple assignments to the same button or switch in the Options dialogues. I also have a question. You seem to be using an very large number of Macros. I wonder why? There are <custom controls> for every switch in a PMDG aircraft. I don't know if your macros are using those, but if so why the indirect method via macros? There are also many posts on using FSUIPC with PMDG aircraft. If you have any issues, try searching for previous posts first. Also, your FSUIPC version is out of date (5.152). Not sure what you mean by 'FSUIPC offset', but if you want to assign a button to a PMDG 'custom control', then you need to select the '<custom Control> action from the 'Control sent when button pressed' drop-down menu (in the FSUIPC assignments dialog). Just a quick clarification here/. The PMDG offsets provide DATA for you to display on your hardware, should younkow how to program it. They are not the "controls" you use to program buttons.
