BeRy
I installed Tower 2011 and the Tower 2011 stops working. The message I get is the following: "The NVIDIA Open GL driver lost connection with the display driver due to exceeding the windows Time-Out-Limit and is unable to continue. The application must close." Sometimes I can only just start the games, sometimes I can play it for some time. I do not have any other programs running while playing the game. My system Win7 64 Intel Core 2Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40 GHz Installed memory (RAM): 4.00 GB 64 bit operating system GeForce 9600 GT 512 MB GDDR3 Open AL installed Speech not installed, I used the short cuts I have de-installed and re-installed several times. I installed Tower 2011 on a different partition and HDD than Win7. Thank you for the help, Beat

Help anybody I had this issue, I fixed it by going in to the Tower folder and moving the file titled "settings.dat" to the desktop (do not delete it until you check the Sim starts). then run the Sim as Admin, it will create a new file with default settings. Once you have confirmed the Sim still runs, you can delete the moved settings file. Gareth
pfaidley
Odd I have been running Tower 2011 and Tracon 2012 for quite a while now and all of a sudden I get this error message telling me my display mode is not supported (see attached screen shot of error message). My tower.log rar is attached as is the screenshot. Windows 7 (6.1) Home premium, 64 Bit SP1 (Build 7601) DirectX 11.0 4G memory NVIDIA GeForce 8400GS rev B1 512MB Speech and everything else OK. As I said, have been running both programs for ages without any problem. The latest was about 10 days ago. Any advice please? I havent tried running tracon yet, but will. Thanks Phil tower.rar Edited November 23, 2014 by pfaidley
