  1. I bought it, played it a few times, and never re-visited it again. When FedEx has their busy times, it's definitely a mad house. Outside of those times, it's pretty dead. (I don't think I used a custom schedule though.)
  2. Okay, thank you guys! Much appreciated!
  3. @vic I don't use voice. Can you tell us which runways will be unusable? Thanks.
  4. Okay, bought OMDB. Thanks, everyone!
  5. OMDB is the one I'm watching right now, and it does look like a good one. I don't really need good visuals as I always have the ADIRS so large, but nice to hear nonetheless.
  6. Yeah, think I'll pass then, thanks @DeltaVII !
  7. Good find, thanks! I'm watching several YouTube videos of various airports right now. Decisions, decisions, haha.
  8. What's everyone's opinion on Barcelona? Watching a video on it now and looks like a nice layout. Is it buggy?
  9. That's a great suggestion, and now I realize that I didn't say I was open to airports outside the US. I should've said I was open to that, so thanks for the recommendation!
  10. Thanks, yeah, I like LAX and BOS a lot. Just looking for something different. Might try MCO, guess I'll think about it and see if more replies follow. 😉
  11. Hey folks! I'm not sure which to grab next. Just kinda getting back into this game recently. I just bought JFK this morning, and I'm disappointed- lots of bugs with taxi instructions. What would be your pick for my next airport? I have these airports now: KJFK KSAN KLAX KLAS KPHX KMEM KBOS KPHL KATL Been thinking about MCO. How's RDU though? I'd like something that stays pretty busy with a good a/c mix.
  12. Ok, I figured that was the case, but thought I'd check. Maybe with the new TowerXXX coming we'll get updated airports, too. 🙂 A current Taxiway T and S at LAX would be awesome. Thanks!
  13. I know service packs get released, but just wondering if they will get updated to reflect new taxiways, etc. I'm playing LAX right now and the game version is much different than the current layout.
  14. Happy Thanksgiving to you as well! Currently sitting in a hotel room, Day 2 of 8...about to fire up some T3D Pro. 😉 ETA: Bought JFK a bit ago.
  15. Pro was already out when I discovered the game. It had some features that made it an easy sell over Standard, and I don't even use voice.
  16. Oh, we were referring to actually taxiing the plane around the surface, not navigating the terminals. Sorry for the confusion! DFW is actually pretty nice in that regard.
  17. I've flown into ATL a couple of times. Wasn't an issue getting around either time. We parked at the GA ramp on the north and landed each time on the north side. The more difficult airports to get around at are ORD, SFO, and even DFW at times.
  18. @crbascott hit the nail on the head with his list. I would agree that LAS is probably the most fun on that list, with PHX a very close second. I wouldn't spend money on MEM...hate to say that and trying not to sound negative. SFO, like he said, can be fun, but only if using non realistic configurations. Another fun one is ATL. It can definitely get overwhelming quickly, and it can be really tricky getting planes from one side of the airport to the other. Lots of potential conflict in the "alleys."
  19. Thanks for the feedback, fellas!
  20. For those of you that have both TRACON and Tower 3D Pro: does TRACON have little bugs or nuisance items like we deal with in T3DP? Meaning things like planes taking the wrong exit off the runway, slowly taxing off the runway, weird pushback issues, etc. If TRACON has lots of little things like that then I may pass on it, but it it's pretty squared away then I'll probably pick it up. Thanks!
  21. No problem. An actual "cross runway" kind of command would be nice, but this works just as well. One gotcha...some airports will have a glitch where the plane will taxi onto its departure runway when you have given these types of clearances. I've had planes taxi into the backs of planes that are in position for takeoff, which results in a crash. You'll just have to try it and see.
  22. You can do this now. You have to give the plane a HOLD SHORT OF clearance for either a runway, or taxiway, that's on the OTHER side of the runway you want it to cross. At LAX, for example, the plane lands 25L. You want it to taxi across 25R without stopping. Give it the taxi routing you want it to take. THEN say "HOLD SHORT OF RUNWAY 24L" and it will cross 25R. It doesn't matter where on the airport the plane is going to, you just have to give a hold short command for some runway/taxiway off in the distance.
  23. Lol! Nah, just a slow climb. Very, very slow climb! Had to burn a bit of fuel off to get up there.
  24. Not really pics OF planes, but it's not every day you get to FL470. The winds were nasty yesterday, my friends. Only 99 knots yesterday up there....they were as high as 160+ knots during our climb to FL400. Went way up to get us home. I didn't fly this leg...I got the one going out with 160 knots straight on the tail!! lol My phone just did not do the sunset justice. It was beautiful! It's a bit wavy from distortion of the windscreen.
