  2. I get what your saying. they should add it but it can also be done by loading a plan into he actual sim then import that into the FMC but again not sure if thats in the manual.
  3. ***UPDATE*** tested a few fp's now I think the problem was I though the airac had updated properly but now i know it has no mismatched issues with way points.
  4. thanks didnt think it was the same issue but i was using the fms data downloaded just done the manual one and its the new file type.
  5. ok so changing the file extension of the Ejets v2 ND.MDB didn't work at all so we need a way to update the airac as a .db3(new type). I would say its pretty importnt to be able to update as the one installed is just too old its missing a lot of new data. can someone just acknowledge they understand what im saying. Thanks,
  6. ND is a .DB3 file with the installer but any nav updates available for the ejets V2 are .MDB files so it meaning the aircraft is not reading the updated database. I have changed the file extension after i download the update and am hoping that enough but navigraph may need to be told the new format should be .DB3 for us t update as the one included is absolutely out of date. I'm just checking if changing the extension of the file is enough for it to work. -- mods. edit: subject line to reflect issue and challenge has been solved.

  8. For me rain drops are working. Ground radar was never presented as a feature only weather radar, What FMC pages are you missing?
  9. there is a rain effect simulated on the window for me. I haven't tried the wipers yet though.
  10. Thank you for acknowledging the request and i really hope you decide to give us a better load manager or FMC load manager and CofG calculations along with a way to actually calculate flex temps.

  12. you nee to click NAV / NEXT PAGE / PATTERNS / FLYOVER / CLICK THE WAY POINT FOR FLYOVER.

  14. Ok i guess they will make sure we can see the whole display. Any idea how long SP1 might be? People keep slating the jets on FB and Im bored of defending.
  15. Not tried yet but other I spoke too have and it worked out. The EGLC ILS would be a manual job anyway and the come in on VREF for a steep app as it helps the sink without speed gain so much(told by a real pilot). I will get round to trying it you could do it in the old version so i suspect if a fully dirty config it will work. But like I said don't expect autopilot to be able to perform miracle and a 5.5 degree GS is best flown by hand. I would leave the AT managing speed first as I suspect it will be more stable that me at keeping the speed right while i concentrate on flying. If it wont do it the it may have to be manual throttles too. I believe like boeings the A/T is designed to be left on and idle itself on flare.

Im very disappointed no kind of CofG is simulated and just like the old one The manual says always use 6 up trim which is unrealistic if the aircraft could be balanced even with a simple load planner just like the aerosoft airbuses. An addon thats costs $60 deserves a modern load-planner for this generations enthusiasts. Its a bit bad that they have used the exact same load planner as the previous Ejets. I love the jet but am feeling that the only new stuff is flight dynamics and eye candy. The FMC is brilliant but is just the same as the old one no complaints about that as it works and is realistic. Come one at least simulate the basics of putting a load on the aircraft .

  20. No you can select PREV and it will switch from LNAV to LOC/GS on its own V/L is only needed for intercepting in a heading.
  21. I may not have had the same airac installed but i had some issues tonight when setting up gsx doors so had to reinstall and start a fresh. Now the airac is upto date ill let you know if the previous plan works now.
  22. Hang on might be something even simpler I will check tomorrow and get back too you. But the importing does work
