  1. Is all this with Registered FSUIPC's only, or either? Can you try with the FSUIPC5.KEY file moved out of the Modules folder (which renders it unregistered). Pete
  2. You cannot. It isn't supported. Why should it be? Pete
  3. No, there are no files in that post. I haven't solved it yet. The files help me narrow it down, that's all. Pete
  4. In the Download Links subforum, where all my software is and where you got FSUIPC5 from. There's no WideFS installer. WideServer is part of FSUIPC and WideClient.exe can be put anwhere you like on the clien PCs. Pete
  5. I can certainly do that, but didn't you read this part of my last message? If not then I guess I'll need to determine "fast" from the number of steps. In that case you'll need to do more experiments with logging enabled, please. You'll need to determine how many steps should be needed to make a > or < selection. (After all 2 or 3 may just be the result of you turning a little too far -- it would be irritating not to be able to get +1 or -1 changes). Are you sure you'll still be able to get the small changes if I treat all with more than one step as "fast"? Pete
  6. The CSV is most important and should be the smallest file of the lot! Everyone else manages to attach it fine. Anyway, there were no other files with your post at all! Pete
  7. Right, but the information you attached is very useful. I should be able to solve it, but it may be tomorrow now. Pete
  8. You need to ask support for that ACARS program. I'm afraid I've never heard of it. Are you sure it uses FSUIPC? How? If only as an external application then you didn't need to purhase FSUIPC in any case. Pete
  9. Please download version 5.101. I don't think it will fix it but it will give me more information. Before running it add Debug=Please LogExtras=x200000 to the [General] section of FSUIPC5.INI. And please show me the Log, the INI and the CSV file resulting. Pete
  10. What version of FSUIPC are you using in P3Dv3?The current one is 4.967 and should have identical results to FSUIPC5.01. If not, please show me the same logging and CSV file from FSUIPC4. Pete
  11. Please download version 5.101. I don't think it will fix it but it will give me more information. Before running it add Debug=Please LogExtras=x200000 to the [General] section of FSUIPC5.INI. And please show me the Log, the INI and the CSV file resulting. Pete

  13. Please download version 5.101. I don't think it will fix it but it will give me more information. Before running it add Debug=Please LogExtras=x200000 to the [General] section of FSUIPC5.INI. And please show me the Log, the INI and the CSV file resulting. Pete
  14. Please download version 5.101. Instructions for the work-around WideFS registration are included. Pete
  15. Please download version 5.101. Instructions for the work-around WideFS registration are included. Pete
  16. I'd post on the PMDG forum if I were you. FSUIPC5 doesn't refer to any PMDG products and PMDG products do not use FSUIPC5. Pete
  17. I know, but that's not terribly relevant, because you can still use you old name for all your SimMsarket purchases and registrations. As I've said manay times, the idea is just to tie the registration code to a person, NOT to enable any big brother to track them down and identfy them. Pete
  18. I am looking at providing a workaround now. Keep an eye on the Updated Modules subfolder for a test version later today. Pete
  19. It isn't a registration problem, though. FSUIPC will be doing a lot more after registration. That's the point of registering! Else it wouldn't be worth buying it, would it? So your INI is relevant, please, as well as the FSUIPC Log and the Windows crash details. Pete
  20. Ah, that's a relief. It would be really a puzzle if the results were different, because the same logic is used in both. I'm working on it. I might need to add more logging ... Pete
  21. You are taking it out of context. The purpose of useing name and email was only to identify a unique person. Names aren't enough (as you point out) and emails can change. Until not all that long ago it didn't allow a change of email either. So, please understand: it isn't personal, it is about the original purpose, of tying the registration to one specific person. FSUIPC and WideFs can be use on any number of machines but only by the registered user -- and that's a more generous license than that for P3D, for instance, where each separate PC install is another purchase. And it doesn't matter if the name changes or the email changes as long as it is the same person. I've always advised keeping exactly the same registration details no matter what you change, and that will work because neither FSUIPC nor WideFS uses either except to tie the registration. I'll take a look at enabling the name to be different for WideFS just like the email can be. But it will mean editing the KEY file (it is a text file). I'm not delving into the Registration coding again -- it is very complex and changing things there is error prone. Leave it to the next update, within a day or two, and I'll allow you to copy the older WideFS key into the KEY file along with the same (previous) name with a title like "NameForWideFS". (I thought I was doing WideFS users a favour by not calling it WideFS8 and requiring a new key purchase alng with FSUIPC, but it seems I was wrong. That would have been much more straightforward and avoid all this hassle). :-( Pete
  22. Thank you ... working on it. Pete
  23. You attached the HidScanner and Joyscan files, but i need the logging please, with the extas added. i.e. as in this part you missed (?): Also, can you please add these lines to the [General] section of the FSUIPC5.INI file, then just run P3D4 again please and show me both the LOG and the FSUIPC5.Joyscan.csv file again? Debug=Please LogExtras=x200000 Pete
  24. I don't know where you find the key for FSUIPC, but for all other products I've bought from SimMarket I always find the key in the Account -- not in an email. Even if it is sent in an email, which seems unlikely in my experience, it would always be in your account for your access at any time. If it is not showing in the usual place please create a problem ticket for SimMarket. Pete
  25. Is this additional to your question about VRi? I'm confused! That does show 4 USB Pads, but for some reason doesn't like them (I'll work that out -- I'll probably need extra logging (see below). And it also sohws 2 Saitek Quadrants, but only one ok -- again I don't see why. Please show me the Joyscan csv file from your FSUIPC4 so I can compare them. Also, please add these lines to the [General] section of the FSUIPC5.INI file, then just run P3D4 again and show me both the LOG and the FSUIPC5.Joyscan.csv file again? Debug=Please LogExtras=x200000 Thanks. (Still confused as to how this releates to your first post in the thread, though). Pete
