Commercial developers (including Richard G.) usually stick with the default mesh. Either that or provide their own mesh to go with a certain area of scenery.
Reason is of course that one cannot sell a nice scenery only to expect customers to (know how ) to install an additional bit of free or paid for mesh !
It is likewise also not possible to cater for one or the other mesh, since customers might have installed none or another one than designed for.
In other words..... default mesh is the most 'reasonable' option for payware :(

non, pas non plus. :)

Simple.... Mathijs and Shaun have left.... they are 'communicators'..... not many people are, certainly not the remaining LAGO crew. At least not in English.
Now.. I wonder if I shut up for a few weeks........... hmmmmm..... :?

nope, no, niente, nada, noppes.....
try again :D

Nope..... :D

I do look better, don't I
By 'time machine' I meant some contraption that allows me to go back in time..... this way I could go back one day at the end of each day and have 48 hours in 1 day..... Hmmmm... that didn't sound too clear to myself actually.... oh well

Forget that question Terry...... I finally found the 'sort' field underneath the download pages and I can find the new stuff now by sorting on Date Added...... I just need a bigger screen, new glasses and more sleep I guess

Thanks for all the nice comments guys..... ALL credit goes to Richard of course.... HE is the one creating these things for you.
And Kobra, Lauren, WilliB and other FSE wizzards, don't feel bad... FSE means FS Enhancer..... and it enhances default MS FS2004 scenery alright.. and some of you really use it to the limit creating beautiful things where there was nothing before !!! Great !
But I guess Richard's work should be called FSSR..... now go and figure that one out.... :?:

Ooooooh.... Chili's !!!! :D :D :D :D

Oh darn... MORE places I have to visit...... Léon, how about adding a 'time machine' to one of your creations...... would come in handy for many of us I am sure !!

Terry, every time I head over to your site I have trouble findig the files advertised..... I browsed though many pages again this time, to no avail  Is it me or are new files so hard to find ???? Perhaps you could make a category with 'Latest files' or something to accommodate for us clumsy people?
Kind regards,
Francois

Hi all,
I promised to post some more 'screenies' of our upcoming FSAddon/Richard Goldstein scenery Orcas Island...... see below.
We also weren't sure yet of the release date (and we still aren't... which developer ever is, right !?? ), but we have decided that we need a littl emore time to 'get it right'.
As you would not expect anything else I am sure you'll be patient 'with' us :D We're about 90% done now, beta testing mostly completed, documentation 80%....... but....
a) Richard found some new things to add, and we would not want to release it without these addtitions now (some samples below), and....
b) we want to be here for you when we release it... and I 'have to go' to Tenerife for a week in February....
Sooooo..... tentative date is around the 21st of Feb..... assuming Richard can be restrained from making any more brilliant additions....
Now, feast your eyes on these..... (hoping I get this right)....

Jun, I think we can help there. Miguel is setting up a 'server service' for simFlight and other customers. Part of it will be freeware, part will be very cheap, so that private developers can afford it.
Depending on size needed we will have to see about pricing, but the bandwidth will NOT be a problem since we have unlimited bandwidth on the servers.
We should be ready with that progrma in a few weeks and be able to discuss details then ! :D
-
The attached utility might do a better job then......

I don't know.. I am one of these 'geeks' that knows everything except how to do things simple  Ask my wife... I am trying to teach her to use a PC... do I succeed !!!??? 8) 8)
The screengrabber should be able to set a size before grabbing the pictures (depending on which one you use). Does it have 'settings' somewhere ?
-
ROFL.... well, you got it posted ! You got the storage size down !! Way to go...
now.. just for our sanity's sake.. if you could 'resize' the pics to 800 pixels wide...... :D :D :D :D
I'll be posting some Orcas shots today... release date still a few weeks away....
-
You will have to make them .jpg or .jpeg if they are not so already. Many screen capturers make .bmp pictures by default. Waaaaay too big on storage.
So capture 'as .jpg' or convert afterwards. Make sure they are not bigger than 125K or so, otherwise the forum system will not accept them.
Also resize to some 800 plz !
:-)

Yup, now we wait.......

You read it on 'Av.... who ' ????? What's wrong with reading it here on simFlight !!?? We're usually 7 hours ahead of any of the others, being Europeans and all that
Yes, Heli, it is good news.... although still another long wait.... Meanwhile, we'll continue doing 'other' interesting things..... and fly here with or without Emma FS9
