Assign two function for one button
sisoffi replied to sisoffi's topic in FSUIPC Support Pete Dowson Modules
howo to modify the "offset byte set" i cannot find any function in fsuipc module. it need directly to ini file? -
Dear Pete, i need to assign on a specific button 4,21(battery switch) one macro as well assigned and the toggle master battery 66241 (but inverted: when macro is on 66241 must off and viceversa) in the same button. This is for the attitude gauges that is extra Maddog panel. Is possible? i try to modify direct ini in this manner, and work but the toggle 66241 must be inversed... ...... ...... 121=P4,21,CM1:1,0 122=U4,21,CM1:2,0 ..... ..... 241=P4,21,C66241,0 242=U4,21,C66241,0 or 121=P4,21,CM1:1,C66241,0 122=U4,21,CM1:2,C66241,0 thanks, Simone

Macro strange problem + NAVS displays problem
sisoffi replied to sisoffi's topic in FSUIPC Support Pete Dowson Modules
the reverse thrust there isnt programmed with an akis or the same engine axis, but i implement a simple switch/button for each egnine. What do i do to assign a reverse to one and anothe switch? thanks, Simone -
Dear Pete, i find from my friend a rudder pedals. I was surprised to find that the pedals are made by two separate poentiometers which control one or the other rudder pedal. In your opinion, how can I assign the function of the rudder to two separate axes? the function that I found in FSuipc is that of the rudder for only one axis (from the classic -16383 - 0 - 16383). Thankyou and merry christmas, Simone

Macro strange problem + NAVS displays problem
sisoffi replied to sisoffi's topic in FSUIPC Support Pete Dowson Modules
Pete, i resolved the question about AP switch. But sometimes i have another problem, the selected switch change in another selection switch for example last time: i have assigned a function for the switch with mixture1 that open fuel valve for the engine1. day after (today) i open a flight and the same switch have another function assigned: THROTTLE1 set !!! Another question: how is the function for the reverses? idont find yet for my cockpit. Thanks, simone -
Dear Pete, i try to assign a macro function to an appropriate switch. in button&switch section i can see the appropriate switch (joy 5 input 3). I assign correct macro ( i have tested with a key press and work!) but when i switch button the macro and the relative function not work! is a simplu AP on/off macro set...is a very strange problem... Another problem i have with a normal a NAV modules. I creat a NAV module with display, but when i connect this i see everytime the frequnecy 108.00 (in 2d panel i see for example 114,30) only when i turn the knobs i see momentarily the frequence, but when i stop turn knobs i see immediatly 108.00. Thanks for your help! Simone

Dear Pete, i think tha macro file there are some errors: 1=OH_APU_BATSW_ON=RX6a3a0*X83cc 2=OH_APU_BATSW_OFFOH_APU_MAST_OFF=RX6a3f0*X83cc 3=OH_APU_MAST_OFF=RX6a000*X83cc 4=OH_SPU_MAST_RUN=RX69f80*X81cc 5=OH_APU_MAST_STRTOH_APU_L_BUS=RX69f80*X81cc 6=OH_APU_L_BUS=RX69f50*X8bcc 7=OH_APU_R_BUS=RX69f20*X8bcc 8=OH_APU_EXPWR_LBUOH_APU_EXPWR_RBUOH_APU_EXPWR_LBUOH_AC_BUS_X_TIE=RX69ec0*X8b00 9=OH_APU_EXPWR_RBUOH_APU_EXPWR_LBUOH_AC_BUS_X_TIE=RX69ec0*X8b00 10=OH_APU_EXPWR_LBUOH_AC_BUS_X_TIE=RX69ef0*X8bcc 11=OH_AC_BUS_X_TIE=RX6a470*X83cc 12=OH_DC_BUS_X_TIE=RX6a420*X83cc 13=OH_APU_GALLEY=RX6a180*X8bcc 14=OH_APU_FIRE_CONT=RX6a030*X8bcc 15=OH_APU_FIRE_AG_1=RX6a0a0*X8100 16=OH_APU_FIRE_AG_2=RX6a060*X81cc 17=OH_APU_AIR_OFF=RX6a130*Xa1cc 18=OH_APU_AIR_ON=RX6a0e0*Xa100 19=OH_APU_AIR_COND=RX6a0e0*Xa100 20=OH_APU_DOORS_OFF=RX68de0*Xa1cc 21=OH_APU_DOORS_NRM=RX68d90*X83cc 22=OH_APU_DOORS_RAM=RX68d40*X8300 23=OH_APU_NORM_ECON=RX68e70*X8bcc 24=OH_ENG_STARTPUMP=RX69c40*X8bcc 25=OH_ENG_SYS_A=RX683b0*X81cc 26=OH_ENG_SYS_OFF=RX68350*X81cc 27=OH_ENG_SYS_B=RX68350*X81cc 28=OH_ENG_SYS_BOTH=RX68350*X81cc 29=OH_ENG_SYS_OVRD=RX68350*X81cc 30=OH_ENG_STARTL_ON=RX68280*X81cc 31=OH_ENG_STARTL_OF=RX68280*X81cc 32=OH_ENG_STARTR_ON=RX681b0*X81cc 33=OH_ENG_STARTR_OF=RX681b0*X81cc 34=OH_ENG_FUELHL_ON=RX69c00*X81cc 35=OH_ENG_FUELHL_OF=RX69c00*X81cc 36=OH_ENG_FUELHR_ON=RX69bc0*X81cc 37=OH_ENG_FUELHR_OF=RX69bc0*X81cc 38=OH_FT_AFTPUMPS_L=RX69b00*X8bcc 39=OH_FT_AFTPUMPS_C=RX69ad0*X8bcc 40=OH_FT_AFTPUMPS_R=RX69aa0*X8bcc 41=OH_FT_FWDPUMPS_L=RX69b90*X8bcc 42=OH_FT_FWDPUMPS_C=RX69b60*X8bcc 43=OH_FT_FWDPUMPS_R=RX69b30*X8bcc 44=OH_ICE_EMLGT_OFF=RX69670*Xa1cc 45=OH_ICE_EMLGT_ARM˜=RX69620*Xa1cc 46=OH_ICE_EMLGT_ON=RX69620*Xa1cc 47=OH_ICE_NOSMK_OFF=RX69580*Xa1cc 48=OH_ICE_NOSMK_AUT=RX695d0*Xa1cc 49=OH_ICE_NOSMK_ON=RX69580*Xa1cc 50=OH_ICE_SEATB_OFF=RX69530*Xa1cc 51=OH_ICE_SEATB_AUT=RX694e0*Xa100 52=OH_ICE_SEATB_ON=RX694e0*Xa100 53=OH_ICE_WS_ANTFOG=RX698d0*X8bcc 54=OH_ICE_WS_ANTICE=RX698a0*X8b00 55=OH_ICE_ENG_L=RX699f0*X8bcc 56=OH_ICE_ENG_R=RX699c0*X8bcc 57=OH_ELPWR_PUSHRIS=RX69db0*X81cc 58=OH_ELPWR_DISC_L=RX69d10*X81cc 59=OH_ELPWR_DISCLOF=RX69d10*X81cc 60=OH_ELPWR_DISC_R=RX69c70*X81cc 61=OH_ELPWR_DISCROF=RX69c70*X81cc 62=OH_ELPWR_AGENRES=RX6a1b0*X81cc 63=OH_ELPWR_AGEN_NO=RX6a1b0*X81cc 64=OH_ELPWR_LGENRES 64.1=RX6a2b0*X8bcc 64.2=RX6a2f0*X81cc 66=OH_ELPWR_LGEN_ON=RX6a2b0*X8bcc 67=OH_ELPWR_LGEN_OF=RX6a2f0*X81cc 68=OH_ELPWR_RGENRES=RX6a230*X81cc 69=OH_ELPWR_RGEN_ON=RX6a1f0*X8bcc 70=OH_ELPWR_RGEN_OF=RX6a1f0*X8bcc 71=OH_VOLFREQ_EXTPW=RX69e50*X81cc 72=OH_VOLFREQ_APU=RX69df0*X8100 73=OH_VOLFREQ_ACDCL=RX69e50*X81cc 74=OH_VOLFREQ_ACDCR=RX69e50*X81cc 75=OH_VOLFREQ_BATTV=RX69e50*X81cc 76=OH_VOLFREQ_BATTA=RX69e50*X81cc 77=OH_APU_EMERPWR=RX6a370*X8bcc 78=OH_ICE_PITOT_CAP=RX69960*X81cc 79=OH_ICE_PITOT_OFF=RX69900*X81cc 80=OH_ICE_PITOT_AUX=RX69960*X81cc 81=OH_ICE_PITOT_F/O=RX69960*X81cc 82=OH_ICE_PITOT_RUD=RX69960*X81cc 83=OH_ICE_PITOT_SPL=RX69960*X81cc 84=OH_ICE_PITOT_SPR=RX69960*X81cc 85=OH_ICE_PITOT_STL=RX69960*X81cc 86=OH_ICE_PITOT_STR=RX69960*X81cc 87=OH_ICE_PITOT_RAT=RX69960*X81cc what do you think? Ok Pete, i try to implement my cockpit with small steps...some of offset now work with general fsuipc offsets and fantastic macro function. Can you explain me what is the parameter (what i can put inside) in the fsuipc buttons section? Thanks, Simone
-
Pete, when you open a consol log from FSUIPC a window appear and al the FS functions you see on the window. So, many scripts run continuosly and it's difficult to read the last mouse clicks. I try to asky you a way to stop these continuosly run scripts see to consol log... hope you understand my request... Simone

ok pete, i try to follow your suggestions. For the console log, i see some contiuosly scripts that dont permit me to read the mouse click events. Is because there are some open offsets in use? Thanks, Simone

ok Pete, i dont understand how is this data window...is a consol log? and when i look in the data window how is the little label in the form (n of n)? thanks, Simone
-
The panel is MADDOG by leonardo. Most of functions are porgrammable via Macro facility, other not. For example is possible to assign values for The APU MASTER switch (off and run)...also start momentary switch but only click not momentary switch. thanks pete for your helps, Simone

ok pete, the battery work to assign On and OFF. i dont understand this point (not in my Fsuipc guide) : If not, then look in the data window for a little label in the form “(n of n)”—for example “(1 of 4)”. If this is present this means that the mouse click may use one of several (4 in this case) different ways into the same routine, and FSUIPC4 is unable to tell which is correct. When this occurs, you still use TAB to test as usual. Of course, if it works the correct switch in the correct way, just continue to name it as described next. If not, click that same switch again -- it will change to “2 of 4” (say). Then re-test using TAB. And so on. Only when the correct action occurs when pressing TAB do you want to name the macro and move on. For the Consol Log there is a method to stop some variables (continuosly) that dont permit to read me the correct mouse click inputs? thanks, Simone

Dear Pete, how are you. So for my cockpit i find one software that can be read completly via MACRO function. So i have encoured several problem programming these buttons: 1 - BATTERY_switch (is a ON-OFF + ARM switch). I open FSUIPC, buttons windows, create macro. I assign a name of my plane (80 in my case) and close FSUIPC. i click over the battery switch and automatically the green macro window appear. So when it' white i assign the function OH_BATTERY_SWITCH_ON. and click ok. Turn in FSUIPC and End macros. Now i have in the FS controls menu the appopriate offset 80_OH_BATTERY SWITH_ON When i go to the fsuipc and assign this offset to button key (previously identify to one joystick button) i choose the appropriate function in the FSmenu (80_OH_BATTERY SWITH_ON) and assign it to my joystick button. Close FSUIPC...i click my button and correctly battery switch assign the value from OFF to ON. The problem is when i want to turn on OFF position....in this case the battery switch go to the ARM position. why? i have not assign this function. I think that the correct use of Macro function is to assign a value to Battery switch ON and another value to Battery switch OFF. I nthe fsuipc can put the value battery on on the first colum and then when press another time the control i assign the value Battery switch OFF....it's correct? the same thing for the others switch? 2 - Momentary Switch....the problem is that i can assign the value for example to a Gen bus...but when i click to the momentary switch the press remaining in ON position! Attend your precious help... thanks, Simone

pete, i have resolve in this manner: i put the parameter 1 in the first function and in the second 0. IT work. It's a correct way? thanks, Simone
