  1. If you installed FSX to the default directory and If you set up your paths in FSC correctly, you should find the flight plan in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\PMDG\FLIGHTPLANS
  2. Vaughn, When you place your cursor on the FSC map the Lon & Lat appear at the bottom of the map. This should make it easy to select the desired VOR from the list.
  3. Daniel, My best guess is that your flightplan is missing some information that is required by FSC. As a result, FSC may expect to read a waypoint but is actually getting some other information from your format and considers it a bad waypoint. .
  4. Daniel: I believe that you can only import FSC flightplans into FSC. If you get your flightplan elsewhere, you must copy the route string into the flightplan window as you did and let FSC create its own flightplan.
  5. If you purchased FSC from SimMarket, download the full version 9.5 from the FSC web site, install it and insert your registration information.. If you pruchased FSC from Aerosoft, download the latest version from your aerosoft account.
  6. There is no such thing. Did you buy FSC from Aerosoft or from Simmarket or are you using the trial version?
  7. FSC's primary purpose is to create a flight plan. The FSC specific flight plan is only used in FSC. Once created the FSC plan can be automatically reformated and exported for use in other programs. One of the other programs is FSX. It is this reformatted flight plan that is imported into FSX. So, with the demo you can learn how to create the FSC flight plan but you can't save it or reformat it for FSX. However, you can assume that that part works. If you want to see the parts of FSC that work inside FSX you will have to create a FSX flight plan. You can do this simply in FSX.
  8. Creedz I don't see your problem. You can create a flightplan. That will let you see all the flight planning features of FSC.. Why do you need to save a FSX flight plan? You can be sure it works. If you want to see the moving map features of FSC, load any flight with a standard FSX flight plan, start FSC and connect to FSX. What is it that you can't try with the demo?
  9. Download the full version 9.5, install it and insert your registration information.
  10. FSX flight plans can not be imported into FSC. FSC needs information not in the FSX flight plan.
  11. If you go to http://www.fscommander.com and scroll down to the bottom right, you will see a section on Registration. In it is a link to Simmarket. Click on it. If you get a non English page, look at the upper left side of the page and you will see a British flag. Click it and you will get an English page.
  12. Assuming 4L/R are in use, would departutres use taxiway A and Arrivals use B?
  13. I seem to remember that the FSC map indicates when travel on an airway is only permitted in one direction. I can't find an explanation in the manual. Please let me know how this is shown on the map. Thanks,
  14. What is the most common runway set up for arrival and departures at KJFK?
  15. Jim: Maybe I am misunderstanding your question but, if you have a legal copy of version 9.2 there is no need to buy anything. Uninstall and back up as Volker indicated in the messsage above. Go here ==> http://www.fscommander.com/download.htm and download the full version 9.5. Install and move the backed-up files to the new installation and you should be good to go. Tom
  16. As you said - use the right click method.
  17. Here's a complete guess: There are two VORs named MOD. One is Modesto, which I expect is the one you want. The other one is in Germany by EDDG, some 4600 miles from KRDD. My guess is that the FSC route builder is picking up the German MOD and is not happy with the distance to the first waypoint. If you use the "Find Object" menu item under Map and search for a VOR named MOD, you will be able to select MOD manually and all is fine.
  18. Take a look at responses 7, 8 and 9 in this thread == http://forum.simflight.com/topic/71920-departure-gate-issue-with-fsx-and-fs-commander/
  19. FSC gets its airports from FSX. Add the airport to FSX, run the database manager and it should appear in FSC.
  20. See section 5.4 of the current documentation.
  21. I believe that your problem is unrelated to FSC. I just loaded FSC 9.3 and it took 40 seconds from first click to airport selection page. If you are still having problems, read this link and post the required information. http://forum.simflight.com/topic/60271-imortant-everyone-please-read/
  22. RC4 uses the standard FSX flight plan. There is no RC4 format. The one in FSC is for old versions. Save the standard FSX flightplan. If it works in FSX it will work in RC4.
