Hallo,
es ist wichtig die alte V1.0 mit SYSTEMSTEUERUNG/SOFTWARE zu entfernen,
sonst isntalliert der Installer nicht. Nur löschen der Verzeichnisse reicht nicht.
Vorallem unter VISTA klappt es nicht, unter XP manchmal schon.
Also einfach mal jetzt deinstallieren und dann nochmal installieren.

I don´t know if Aerosoft and simmarket allready put the new version on their server.
Simply go to your shop account where you ordered Heathrow and download it again.
Check first that it is the new V1.1 (60 MB download size instead of 148MB)
Uninstall V1.0 before installing V1.1 (Maybe keep V1.0 *.exe if you are concerned)
Anyway, V1.1 is really worth to be downloaded as it provides a smoother approach
and needs less graphic memory.

Yes, it works fine for most customers (when you delete other EGLL stuff of course).
But some users got problems, therfore we made the new version/patch

Hi to all,
during the few days Heathrow is released we got some support requests concerning CTD´s on few PC´s
and about stuttering/hanging sim on approach or take off. Thanks to some users in the Aerosoft forum testing my altered files we managed to solve the issue which we and all of our Beta testers never had.
We worked hard over the weekend and tomorrow a new updated version 1.1 will be available
for download at your Aerosoft or simmarket shop account!

sorry. No chance to get the animated jetways without AES.
We try to put them into the FSX version, but no promises.
Actually those seem to be very demanding to the performance.

seems like there went something wrong with the install.
or do you have another scenery for Heathrow still active?
Try to uninstall and reinstall Heathrow 2008. If the problem is not solve search for anothe AFCAD file
AF2_EGLL*.BGL at your FS2004.

It seems like that the error is identified.
Heathrow uses the same ILS frequencies for both runway end. (09L and 27R both use 110.30)
As I know this is unique at larger airports. Unfortunatly it caused some trouble with the NAV1 radios of several aircrafts.
At the new AFCAD replacement file, Oliver pabst removed the backcourse for the ILS´s and it seems like that it cured the problem.
Please use the attached replacement AFCAD (simply copy the unzipped file into /heathrow2008/scenery)

Yes, we´ll do a Mega Paris CDG. If it will also be for FS2004 is not quite sure now.

yes, of course Malage really deserves an update.... but: The new runway will be inaugurated in december 2009 (2 years so far) and everything else is just a huge construction site. I dont think
you want to have a new scenery with all that cranes and construction work. And also it would really be hard to get an aerial picture of the new Airport for ground textures :-)
But anyway: I´ll have an eye on it. Since I made no final decission what will be next after Heathrow
it could be a good choice if I find more information how the Airport will look like (maps, etc)
perhaps someone knows an AENA employje ? :-))

HI,
the problem is, that we put our airport on the same height as MS put the default airport. (slightly too high, but we allways do so to avoid conflicts with AI-Traffic, third party add ons...). Now, in this case the VFR add on puts everything down to the mesh height (3 m or so). As I have heard from a customer VFR France offers a solution in their forum how to use our airport with their add on. Unfortunatly I never got a copy from them during their developing process to make some adjustment for Marseille airport in the meantime. Now, facing the FSX updates, we have to skip this until we update and rework the entire airport.

Just want to let you know that it had something to do with his graphic card settings and not with the scenery CDG. Maybe he could post here which changes were made?

Hi,
I´m very sorry but we are not able to change our sceneries in "real time" when changes were made at the real airport. Of course: When we rework products we allways incorporate the newest changes and sometimes, if we have got the information we also built some future changes (like T5 in London Heathrow).
But a scenery will allways represent a little time frame or better a status quo.
At the moment I´m also not able to make any changes "on request" cause I`m too deep inside LHR. I´ll get back on this later when I have checked which changes were made in LEPA.

Ich würde mal vermuten, dass du CDG doppelt angemeldet hast?
Check bitte mal die Scenery.cfg nach doppelten Einträgen für CDG.
Ansonsten kann es nur eine andere Scenery in der Nähe sein. Oder vielleicht sind noch Reste der Freeware "REal CDG" auf dem Rechner? Ich glaube mich erinnern zu können, dass RealCDG auch manche BGL Dateien in das
/FS)/Addon/Scenery verzeichnis oder so kopiert. Ich weiß es aber nicht mehr genau. Ansonsten mail mir mal bitte deine scener.cfg, vielleicht finde ich da etwas.

HI,
its just a simple test: Moving the Gibraltar entry over the VFR entry in the scenery library should give you a first impression if it´s working that way
as our scenery allready contains a custom landclass and VTP polys.
If its working "in general" maybe some VTP files outside Gibraltar could be removed.
I cannot test it myself as I dont own the VFR scenery.

Hi Gav,
OK. Now we know what causes the problem. You own the single versions of Ibiza and mallorca. The problem for us was to sell Mallorca also for poeple not using Ibiza. Therefore the Mallorca installer searches for existing Ibiza files and chooses the correct coastline files depending on using both or just Mallorca. Try to deinstall BOTH and reinstall it in the order: 1. Ibiza, 2. Mallorca. The Mallorca installer should recognise that Ibiza is allready installed and will use the correct water/coastline files.
Plesae report if this helped. If not we have to make some changes manually.

Please deactivate Mallorca temporarilly to see if this could be the problem.
Plese report if the problem in Ibiza is gone, when BOTH Mallorca scenery entries are deactivated.

HI,
what I can see is that the default waterclasses are active. Search for the BGL files of the thread you got the screenshot from somewere on your system.
If you also have Mallorca from sim-wings that is sold seperately try to shift the two Ibiza entries to a higher priority than Mallorca (And check if Mallorca is still OK). Forget about this if you have bought the "Baleraic Islands" in completet.

due to the big changes in FSx all sim-wings canary airports don´t work in FSX. They have to be remade 90 %. This will take some time. Expect
the new FSX canary airports for FSX in late 2007.
