I see career mode as starting at a basic airport and gaining the skills and certification before being able to advance to the next level like a real atc, thats just my take on it, that gives structure and goals rather than just a sandbox environment Wayne

Hi Just wondering what the best procedure would be for the below I was working atc at ksan when a GA aircraft called in for landing, a little time after that a jet called in for landing think it was a 737, as they closed towards final it was obvious a conflict was going to occur probably before landing or best case seperation loss on the runway. I gave the GA aircraft a go around and handed back to departure, is there a better option given there is no hold command, could i simply have manually vectored into a hold and rolled it behind the jet traffic, only issue there is the potential of another jet entering behind causing the same issue, thanks for any advice . In the real world it would no doubt be a break off final and a vector to a wide base behind the jet i guess or a hold somewhere perhaps i could do that but its a bit limited due to lack of speed commands Regards Wayne

So having read that thread i take away from that that its displayed wrong in tower 3d, i cant imagine controllers having to keep track of everything reversed as oppossed to the out tge window view example ksan, it would be a nightmare when busy, really does need to be a user configurable option, i see videis of people working ksan with 100% traffic just dont know how they do it, must just be smarter than me lol

Thanks tist and ksan are better examples of how the radars dont reflect whats outside the towercab but i suppose if this reflects real life must get used to it and aquire that skill, thanks again

thanks Crbascott, you may also know what the deal is with the radar screens not being orientated with the actual airport, this really throws me especially at LAX when I am looking at the radar screens they don't depict what I am actually seeing out the tower windows, so in a sense the radars are reversed to what I am seeing out the tower cab, I don't think that's how it is in the real world but might be wrong, most of the airports in Tower 3D are like that, perhaps its something you get used to once you become more comfortable with the airport and spend less time thinking about commands and just doing Thanks Wayne

Hi I would like to see a command added when arrivals make their initial call in, perhaps Radar contact Continue approach Report established final or joining long final perhaps It appears the only initial communication to give arrivals is a clear to land or join final etc but they are over 10 nm out when handed to tower so in my mind its too early to give landing clearence but would be good to give them aknowledgement Thanks Wayne

Hi kev Yes i will definently utilise that it was more directed at feel there as consideration for a permanent and easier cleaner solution in the future

I dont want to set to zero so to speak but pehaps 10% increments as oppossed to the minimum being 50% Wayne

Hello I brought tower 3d pro which included 3 dlc airports on steam, but i also brought real traffic and real color for the airports plus i also brought klga all direct from the feel there website, my question is how do i know when there are program updates for the non steam addons to Regards Wayne

Kudos to the developers this is by far the best Tower sim I have ever played, its a steep learning curve but its about as close as you will get to being a real controller, I still have a few issues with speech recognition at times but about 80% accurate so far and I have only played it a couple of times, the speech recognition is great for about 30 minutes then it starts to go down hill, perhaps I'm getting tired or something but I need more time to see if its a trend or just my speech Regards Wayne

Hi I have an Asus ROG notebook that runs games really well, granted notebooks usually get hotter than a desktop gaming PC but after a few minutes playing this game my notebook CPU temperatures are floating around the mid 90 Degrees Celsius and my GPU temperatures are not far behind it. It runs really well but wondering why it pushesthe notebook really hard when none of my other games do that and I run a lot of other graphical intense games, I even have the CPU and GPU fans at 100%. So far no issues but it is a worry it runs that hot when playing this game Regards Wayne

Hello I did see a post on this but I cant find it now, anyways a couple of the airports IE TIST and KSAN the radars and ground movement radars are opposite to the airport which makes it very difficult having to work in reverse, surely this is not accurate as its not the case at the other airports I have looked at If this is how it is in the real world what are some strategies to stop from getting disorientated as your potentially looking at everything in reverse depending which way the radar screens are pointing, I found this most difficult at LAX and had difficulty getting my bearings, I am however not ready for such a big aircraft and I am hoping I will develop better special awareness with more practise at smaller airports Wayne

Hello At the bigger airports I find it too overwhelming even at 50%, I would like to see the slider ranging from 0% to 100% for traffic density, I don't understand why it can only go to 50%, thanks Regards Wayne

Hi feel there support I think your program is awesome but I really hate using the middle mouse button for PAN its just plain awkward and most of the time it hesitates and doesn't work, I would rather hold right mouse button down or just hold down space bar while moving the mouse, is this possible Regards Wayne

Alan I had no luck even after trying to install before anti virus was installed and applying all exceptions for Tower, I also unticked remove suspected threats automatically. I use Trend Micro Internet suite, perhaps Feel There support may have some further advice but for me I'm just as happy to disable trend whist I am playing tower as I have another malware program running and also windows firewall, provided your not surfing the internet at the same time you should be safe, hopefully feel there can assist us to allow it to run through our AV Regards Wayne

Alan Yes its definitely Anti Virus software that's causing it for me, I have uninstalled tower 3D and made some changes in my Av software such as to not automatically delete some tower files and added some exceptions for steam but I think the damage has been done. I suspect it will be necessary to remove all traces of Tower 3D from steam and to uninstall and reinstall my Av with those AV changes so next time I install AV and tower 3D it does not block those tower files, in the mean time just disable your anti virus when you play until you can find a solution, hopefully that's your issue too. I will let you know if this works for me Cheers Wayne
