Guessing that the very recent release of new supplementary products for the current generation platform has something to do with the more mysterious and cryptic approach to disseminating information around here. Don't worry, I'm writing in a whisper. Hopefully, our patience will be rewarded.

Will we see aircraft crabbing on short final during crosswind landings?
-
Or perhaps KIAD?

You know, they say that its wise to toss a bit of meat into the tiger cage every once in a while lest we start eating each other. How about some real info? Robnpat over there is starting to look hungry

Vaguely ;-) Perhaps you could give us a refresher...

Still waiting for the new post, with new info and new pics. Vic, you are such a tease...

Keeping something under the lid doesn't mean a short beta :)

Oh my... perhaps I am on to something

Cannot imagine. I miss all those great screenshots. Could this be a sign that release is imminent? Does not seem like it has been in beta long enough, but who knows.

I like the Frankfurt add-on too, but I do wish that they would fix the missing terminal on the Ground Radar display. They have been promising to fix it for a year now, but still have not done anything about it.

Very interesting site overall. Thank you for posting that!

We were talking about a patch for EDDF airport's missing part.
Precisely. Is this any closer to happening? This is one of your most expensive add-on airports. A shame that it has this flaw.

Just noticed that this problem never got resolved after several months. I do understand that most of your focus is on developing the new version of the sim. However, I also see that you are continuing to release new airports for the old version (eg. KMCO) I might be more inclined to buy them if I had confidence that they would be supported.

Did you select any active runways? Click on the big dots on the airport menu screen?

KATL, my Precious!

As soon as we will have any news we will post it :) Likely we will release the "no comment" project before ATCC :)
Wow. That is a pleasant surprise. Please tell me (when you are ready :-) that there will be a KATL available at some point for the "no comment project."

Not having a runway open for arrivals only prevents the simulator from feeding traffic to that runway. You can still instruct planes to land there. Use the phrase "Enter Final Runway...", just make sure to issue the command early, as otherwise the plane will circle around, possibly conflicting with other traffic.

All I wanted to know. Thanks.

Would it be possible to have some confirmation of whether this problem can/will be corrected by the developer? FeelThere indicated that they were "looking into it," but never stated if they had made a determination about resolving the issue. I intend no disrespect; I am not looking for a "bi-daily" progress report, nor am I trying to rush things. I am considering attempting to correct it for my own use as another user did, but would prefer not to reinvent the wheel if the developer is already in the process of resolving it with a higher level of accuracy than I could manage.
Thank you.

Would love to hear an update about this matter. it has been a week since any official comment.

Thank you very much.

Seems to be taking a very long time for anyone from Feel There to get back to us about this issue. Would really like to hear them acknowledge the issue and commit to resolving it. It does not sound like it should be so difficult to correct.

Not sure that I completely understand your question. If you hold down the center/scrollwheel button on your mouse, then you can scroll around the airport as well as on the ground radar screen (this does not work on the approach radar screen). Is this what you meant?

I finally got it to work. I uninstalled Tower11 completely and did a full reinstall of the the game and every airport i have. Somehow that got it to work. Now if they could fix the missing concourse(s).
So glad to hear that you solved the problem. Enjoy!

Mistakes happen, but it seems they had to make compromises on some other parts of the airport as well, compared to the other airports they have released. If you compare especially
the main terminal 1 to satellite images you'll see what I mean... But as it is my home airport I'm glad they did it at all.
I do see what you mention, but IMHO that is due to the airplane symbols on the ADIRS being scaleable and it is not a problem at all as long as the aircraft have enough
"wingtip clearance" on the main view. The ADIRS is just for orientation. It is very narrow in the real-world, too, see
One issue that is annoying, though (but is not limited to EDDF), is that there is no possibility to define which size of aircraft use certain gates, so it can happen
that you see ground collisions between two large aircraft using gates adjacent to each other that are only suitable for medium aircraft (e.g. A26 to A40 at EDDF).
I sincerely hope that the gate size definition will be added soon.

Excellent points. Hopefully the new 3D sim will have a more detailed approach to parking spots. Would you be willing to share your mod with others as a temp fix, until whenever Feelthere/Nyerges get around to instituting a permanent solution?

This is a known limitation of the game. It will ding you for parallel operations on close runways (as you find in KBOS and KSFO), because it is not smart enough to tell the difference between the space around runways and regular airspace. You can beat this problem by carefully staggering your parallel operations. Alternatively you can just ignore the warnings and keep on playing.
