Virus in FSUIPC3.zip

Hi

I downloaded fsuipc4 no problem.

But when I download fsuipc3 then ESET Nod32 V4 gives a virus warning.

Where did you download it from? If it was from http://www.schiratti.com/dowson then its a false positive, ESET seems to be having problems lately, they are reporting all of Flight1's wrappers as Trojan's which clearly isn't the case.

Never believed otherwise, but just for completeness:

FSUIPC.dll (for FS9) v.3.9.0.0, time stamp 26.02.2009 15:37, size 251,008 byte

which comes packaged with the Just Flight "Air Hauler" add-on.

The Kaspersky online File Scanner gives the file a clean bill, unsurprisingly.

Air Hauler is not using the Flight1 wrapper, though, so that can't be the (only) culprit.

Right click on the DLL and check the signature. If that says it is okay it most certainly is not infected or tampered with in any way. Note that in the new versions of FSUIPC the signature is changed to SimFlight instead of Peter L Dowson (because sadly none of the Certificate Authorities will now sell licenses to individuals, only companies! :-( ).
