Problem after Direct

After I set the direct in the fmc the A/T  went crazy and the engines did not detach from the minimum

Is this the crazy behavior?  Do you mean you could not adjust the throttles?

Also need to know aircraft(s)?

Can this be reproduced? If yes then how?  If yes please share a FLT file saved just prior to when the incident can be reproduced.

I speak about embraer 190 v3.

i set the direct Vor into the fmc and after that the a/t became to reduce de speed down to the minimum and the plane fall down.

if I disengage and engage every autopilot system everything rework only for a few minutes

The autothrottle disconnected?

The autopilot commanded idle thrust?

The FMC changed the airspeed to a lower setting?

The fault can be repeated or happens this one time?

Please provide details of:

* The EXACT flightplan and the specifics of the change you made to the plan made in going direct. (ie, the buttons pressed in what sequence)

* The FLT file saved just prior to the fault occuring.

Direct-To logic looks very different compared with another aircrafts. I think you need to select "active" instead of "direct"

Direct then adds the WP to the start of the FP, Active makes it the active leg so skips the WPs before it.
