fsuipc failed to initialize

Recommended Posts

Hi peter,

I sometimes get fsuipc failed to initialize pop up on loading latest P3D.

It only happened since I download some extra addons

ASN 2016

PMDG 747 V3

Linda latest version

If I retry it works fine, I can live with it.

Is there something in the config file I can tweak to solve the problem.

Great software keep up the good work

Can you explain what you mean here, as it doesn't make sense to me. Describe the symptoms of your problem.

Retry what, how? Do you mean reload P3D?

I just take the pop up option RETRY  to initialize then it works fine

There's no "pop-up option RETRY" in FSUIPC.

I'm afraid you need to describe the symptoms, as I already asked! What is it you are actually retrying? It isn't FSUIPC "failing to initialise" as it doesn't tell you things like that -- and to get FSUIPC to reload you'd most certainly have to restart P3D.

It sounds like you have a problem with a third party program, not FSUIPC.

Hi Peter,

On loading P3D win prof 10 64bit

All ok but I get a pop up on loading P3D saying fsuipc.dll has failed to initialise.

It, the pop up then gives me the option to retry, that works fine ie Linda works AS 2016  etc.

I do no reset P3D

I can live with it.

Thanks for letting me know it is not a fusipc problem

Sounds like it is LINDA. Doesn't it identify itself in its "popup"? No title on the Window? You should contact LINDA support. LINDA is trying to do something with FSUIPC and failing. Maybe it is starting too early and some parts of P3D and FSUIPC aren't ready, so it sees wrong information. But I'm afraid I cannot help -- go to the LINDA forum please.

Hi Peter,

As I stated earlier, when I updated LINDA the problem appeared.

No indication it is a linda pop up .

As I say it is not a problem, but LINDA looks the culprit.

Well done Peter as always for an excellent reply

Regards Andy
