  1. London_Heathrow_Airport_terminal.txt Noticed one possible error Terminal 4 is a very long list of airlines, the last two are separated by a fullstop instead of comma Terminal 5 : CBA, BAW, IBE I have searched for CBA (including the airlines.txt file) but cannot find any such airline If I put all the airlines into alphabetical order (to make it easier to read and edit) would this cause an issue?
  2. Yes, that works with just 27L selected Arrivals on 27L and I can submit departures to 27R
  3. 1 I have always started with 27L 27R I will try just one, 27L, and see what happens and if this permits me to operate all departures as 27R The problem there would be swapping over at 15:00 I have started with the schedule.txt file I am removing everything except LHR flights, just to make it easier to see when editing However it appears to be quite old (file is dated 2011) Is a newer one available? I am currently using Notepad++ Is there a program available to edit with ease?
  4. Finally I have EGLL running, with all the appropriate add-ons Running with 27L and 27R However, I have noted some discrepancies I would like to correct, if possible 1 Landing aircraft appear to randomly choose 27L or 27R Is there any way to edit these so that they are more realistic and what would be expected, ie 27L before 15:00 and 27R after 15:00 Alternative, how do I instruct the aircraft to use 27L instead of 27R 2 The first two arrivals are BAW 744 However they go to Terminal 5A which is incorrect, and really should be either 5B or 5C 3 I cannot work out what gate each aircraft is going to, so advice on that one!
  5. Tested, and game loads and plays without any problems on the other computer System : Windows 10 ver 1803 17134.950 English UK 4GB RAMIntel HD Graphics 64MB VRAM 32 Bit 1366 x 768OpenAL Installed (not configured / disabled) Speech disabled I searched again, but the only option within Windows is a complete Recovery and removal of all files So how do we resolve this?
  6. Ironic yes, and they are both identical! I use one for compiling videos (not connected to internet) and the other websites
  7. System : Intel HD Graphics 64MB VRAM Minimum computer specification : 256MB video card memory This is an oversight on my part, clearly not enough video memory
  8. No, I was able to get it complete once The game then just sits doing nothing Since then, all it does it gets to "Please wait loading", gets to about two thirds and just sits there for some time (last time it was 90 minutes) If I do wait then as above the game completes but nothing happens
  9. Rollback appears to be denied It has since updated on one of the many shutdown / restarts that I completed to : Windows 10 ver 1903 18362.356 English UK
  10. Having found and read this topic, I have come to the conclusion that even though my computer meets the minimum hardware requirements the shared video is not compatible System : Windows 10 ver 1903 18362.295 English UK 4GB RAMIntel HD Graphics 64MB VRAM 32 Bit 1366 x 768OpenAL Installed (not configured / disabled) Speech disabled Minimum computer specification : 1.2 GHz Processor 1GB memory for Windows XP and 1.5GB memory for Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8 256MB video card memory 700MB hard disk space Sound card Mouse My purchase was based on comparing, and appeared to be sufficient Clearly it is not
  11. Made another attempt, completing the following : Uninstall all components Tower2011m-sp4.exe OpenAL Microsoft C++ 2010 Shutdown / restart Install Tower2011m-sp4.exe Shutdown / restart Run as administrator Click on Settings, no response, force close of program Run as administrator Click on Settings Change screen size, to 1920 Change resolution, to Min Click on Apply Click on Start Splash screen appears, one third progress bar audio warning, two thirds no further progress Waited three hours, no change
  12. No, I can only get it to run once it has installed After the shutdown /restart it is then incredibly slow to load, taking over 30 minutes at the two thirds progress bar
  13. As already mentioned above, I am only using Run As Administrator, that is what the advice in older posts states I have since completed a further four uninstall / reinstall / shutdown / restart It now does not even run, just gets to the two thirds progress and does not proceed any further
  14. No changes in any other software, this is solely about Tower 2011 I have repeated this four times, all the same, which confirms the issue is AFTER the shutdown / restart This time I have ONLY installed Tower2011m-sp4.exe So here is what I did... Disconnect from router (Airplane Mode /Wifi Off) Uninstalled all of the above four Tower related programs Shutdown / restart Install Tower2011m-sp4.exe Run as administrator Splash screen appears, warning at one third progress, START game, no issues Shutdown /restart Run as administrator Splash screen appears, one third progress bar audio warning, two thirds no further progress Uninstall Install Tower2011m-sp4.exe Shutdown / restart Run as administrator Splash screen appears, one third progress bar audio warning, two thirds no further progress Uninstall
  15. Uninstalled everything Installed Tower2011m-sp4.exe Received the error about Microsoft Visual C++ again, ignored it first time as the latest version is installed Uninstalled that, and started all over again! LAX loaded almost instantly, then same issue again, gets to about two thirds of the splash screen and just sits there...
  16. I still do not have a tower.log file, but a game.log file has been created game.log
  17. Yes, I started off testing each installation when completed, got all the way to all four without any problems (that was yesterday, day one) Switched the computer on today (day two) and there is clearly something not right Anti Virus, not sure this would cause an issue as it was in place yesterday McAfee SecurityCenter v16.0 Could be swapping from English US to English UK?
  18. Tempted to uninstall and reinstall, then compare?
  19. It was all going so well... Based on previous posts, advised to install in specific order, installed the following then shutdown /restart : Tower2011m-sp4.exe Tower! 2011 - EGLL add on.sp1.exe real_traffic_sp6.exe real_color_EGLL.exe Setup the Desktop Icon to Run As Administrator The splash screen loads, but takes about 60 seconds to respond Pressing START The progress bar quickly reaches about one third, and I then receive two warning popups, due to microphone disabled The progress bar then reaches about two thirds, and it takes anything from 90 minutes to complete The clock begins, but one second on screen is about 15 minutes When first installed this was quite quick (about three minutes), but as above is now ridiculously long On my first attempt I managed to get two aircraft to taxi to the runway, but that was as far they got There is no tower.log file System : Windows 10 ver 1903 18362.295 English UK 4GB RAM Intel HD Graphics 64MB VRAM 32 Bit 1366 x 768 OpenAL Installed (not configured / disabled) Speech disabled
  20. FeelThere is not the only provider of such software I have returned to my original deduction, setting the start time as 09:00 However, where does the dawn /sunset setting come from? If it is realistic, then there will not be much daylight when we get to December!
  21. Another software provider of Ground EGLL has recently ceased, so been looking for an alternative Looked at this before, so decided to make the swap (familiar with radar, charts at EGLL, and so on) I spent all of last week at EGLL Operations Recently purchased Tower 2011, as it is the only option to operate EGLL Almost everything working, come to that later As daily operations are typically 05:00 to 23:00, setup to start at 05:00 However, it is darkness, which for testing and training is not helpful Is it possible to adjust / force daylight? I appreciate the alternative is to simply start at something like 08:00 or 09:00, but in the long term I plan to import a full schedule for EGLL
