I was having difficulty trying to work out aircraft codes, as there is no editor to confirm which to use I will now continue this conversation in my own dedicated topic, as some other issues have appeared (Incorrect aircraft, Terminals, Real Colours, and so on) and rather than mix between three topics I can cover them all specifically

It does not help when the airlines use different codes Fly Dubai use both; 738 winglets on outgoing and 73H on incoming I decided to just use 738 for them all! I have almost completed arrivals for OMDB However, I still have no aircraft for BI7 and BI8 as they are not in the original file and I still not have any A339 in use by another airline A339_bi B788_bi

Great in theory, but tested and that did not work either for the S7 A320 For the 339, all that comes back is a flight number not an aircraft!

Sadly that has only partially worked I have ended up with lots of gaps as I am not sure which code to use as they are very similar As above, it would be helpful to have a list of the aircraft that are actually covered by a single code This is just one example, there are several others! BI7 BWN - DXB BI8 DXB - BWN Neither of these flights are in the original schedule file So my choices are A339_bi B788_bi However, I need to know what code to enter into the schedule file Another example is S7 airlines Missing from the original schedule file 32N Again, I do not know which A320 code to use

This has been a great resource for me over the last two days, OMDB However unlike Tower 2011 where I could use the Plane Editor to check which code to use, I cannot find one Some examples flydubai B738_fz (using the ICAO code) 738 (assumed from the ICAO code) 73H (this code appears in the schedule.txt file instead) FEDEX M11F_fz M11F M1F British Airways b772_ba 772 772 British Airways b777_ba Unknown, this could by any of four! I had this happen in Tower 2011 when the FlyBe aircraft landed Anything behind it would crash into it on the runway! At least in Tower 3D you can command the following aircraft to Go Around, creating a gap which in most cases should be large enough Equally, before the aircraft lands you can command the use of specific taxiways, which you can also use to separate out aircraft

This is to pick up some of the slots that will become vacant when Virgin Atlantic swaps out of EGKK, so they can be swapped back in future

I am in the middle of creating an OMDB Summer 2021 schedule; blended from next years schedule I supect this was found in the schedule from April 2020, Indonesia repatriation flight charters Wamos Air are listed as having operated two charter flights BWN - DXB 03:40 EB0007 DXB - BWN 05:00 EB0008 I was going to include them, but after researching this decided to avoid it!

This is one compromise with OMDB, some of the well known International carriers are not present Sadly no US carriers since about 2015

The timetable I have for OMDB advises Quantas would end operations early in 2020, no need for the stopover I was also hoping to have Virgin, but their operations some time ago as well I have the outline timetable for Spring / Summer 2021 Sadly a lot of the flights within it might be cancelled, but I will create the game files irrespective! Equally, some airlines are showing as A350 and B787, but the airlines are not in the master sheet (yet!)

No, I am actually referring to the real Apron S and Stands S1 to S15 These stands are in the bottom right hand corner, on the opposite side of what the game has designated as Remote E

Excellent, exactly what I was after I then realised what I could do is create a test schedule with one of each aircraft in each Terminal Just to verify In your diagram note that C:1C is the same airlines as D:D, there is no UAE allocated However in real life are all the stands for Concourse C allocated to UAE ? So the same issue of stand blocking exists, just like it does in Tower 2011 EGLL (where an aircraft arrives then blocks the stand for several hours, whereas in real life it would be moved to a remote stand)

Quite similar to Tower 2011 EGLL, but I got round it by using the remote stands As previous, I can start modifying the original files, then go from there

I suspect this is more to do with the Real Traffic schedule I have now found another issue, discussed in a more recent reply As a result I will compile a stands spreadsheet like I did for Tower 2011 EGLL, and that will then confirm if there is a conflict It might take me a while to correct this, but I have already looked at the file structure and it is quite similar I am working on Sunday, so probably some time next week! I have five days free...

What did you go with? I went for EDDM and OMDB I started with OMDB today I have to agree, just like EGLL is predominantly BA, OMDB is predominantly EK and FZ However, I have already found the Real Traffic Schedule is quite flawed Starting at 07:00 was the best Starting at 12:00 resulted in a gate clash Starting at 06:00 has to be even worse, as no traffic between 06:20 and 7:00, even though the spreadsheet has about 30 movements The main issue is the stands were already occupied! I will try to obtain a Summer 2019 schedule, then create my own just like I did for EGLL

I have spent all of today testing OMDB on my replacement computer Started with 50% at 07:00, then 100% at 07:00, and now up to 100% at 12:00 as this appears to be the busy time for arrivals I have my first glitch, affecting two aircraft I have searched the forum, but nothing specific has helped to explain this UAE 871 (highlighted in the screenshot) 12:09 DXB - KWI 77L/H Gate A10 However when I send the command to approve Pushback nothing happens Equally, I cannot actually see what the aircraft is doing as it is out of sight (unlike those very near to the tower which i can easily watch) As a result, the following aircraft will not vacate the runway as the stand is already occupied UAE545 MAA - DXB 12:10 77W/H Gate A10 Please advise

I uses printed copies for Tower 2011 EGLL Helpful when trying to work out if arrivals are delayed Would it possible to integrate with Tower as it runs? The Arrivals and Departures windows could then be set into a second or third screen

Installed Tower 2011 SE on my replacement desktop PC No issues Intel i5-3470 8GB RAM Shared 1GB VRAM I am just waiting for the Dedicated Graphics Card and an additional 16GB RAM before I install Tower 3D Pro A slight error made by the retailer though I ordered two identical monitors, but only one arrived They accepted the error when I sent them the delivery note and labels from the boxes, marked 1 of 2 and 2 of 2, clearly should be 3 boxes One side has Pick 2 but the other has 1, suggesting who prepared the box only looked at the delivery side, not the picking side! I assume Tower 3D Pro can operate two screens What about Tower 2011 SE ?

Yes, that is part of my plan This summer there should have been some BA fleet changes, thankfully the aircraft are available but had not yet been applied to the airports This will also help me when EGLL is released, I will be well placed to refine and create a summer 2019 version
