Please advise what term works (none in the Manual) Procedure is east / west

I had concerns about crossing Runway 12R / 30L However the procedure is actually easier than with Tower 2011 EGLL Part of the Pushback procedure at OMDB is the controller will advise the aircraft as to the direction of travel; east / west I noticed UA805 was facing in wrong direction Plan was to send it via J1 / L3 but it was facing towards W / J2 It amazingly did a U-turn where one is not permitted?!

I have been testing / training to get used to the ease of operations Sadly DXB is one airport I have never been to This week I started off with 12L - departures / 12R - arrivals As there are fewer pinch points do deal with Equally, I am trying to avoid crossing active runways Today 30L - departures / 30R - arrivals One pinch point to deal with Again, easier to avoid crossing active runways I then noticed the runway entry points are vastly better Yesterday I watched some Apron movement videos which helped solve some of the issues I will now test with 30R departures / 30L landings This does mean I now need to work out how to cross active runways (something which EGLL does not really have)

I am already using them for aircraft that use Terminal 2 and Apron Q Just a shame they cannot be combined and are voice only, CTRL + V typing is required

A slight correction is required and would be appreciated Some arriving aircraft are incorrectly using M5A when I would be expecting to be using M3A or M6 In this example The A388 correctly uses M3A However the two B77W should also be using M3A but they are not When watching them they are braking heavily into M5A Decelerating correctly down to 40, then dramatically down to 10

I am nearing the end of creating the realistic OMDB schedule Comparing Schedule Information graphic there appears to be quite a difference, as I am near on 1000 movements Interesting though that we both have a fall in traffic around 15:00 to 18:00 However, I have a higher ratio of arrivals between 04:00 and 06:00, and departures between 07:00 and 10:00

I am aware of that This is more of a general note for future reference At least there are updates to the liveries, and as each takes place I can then come back to this topic to see if I can update the aircraft on the schedule Equally, I noted some differences between the original OMDB release and the one I have I already have EDDM and have managed to update some of the aircraft It looks as if CYVR will also fill some of the other gaps, plus give some options

Excellent, thanks for that This has also solved the overlap so the image is no longer partially greyed out Much to easier so that I can see the gaps in the schedule I can now screenshot and use in future

I was hoping I could amend the Terminal numbers, but there is no Airport Editor As a result I can amend the Terminal file, but it has left me with some parts of the airport that do not quite match the charts and real life usage Apron G (PadG) Stand G22 is missing (incorrectly assigned to RemoteE, see below) Apron N (RemoteE) Stand G22 is incorrectly assigned to RemoteE There are only three stands Stands H1,H2 and H3 For some reason the game has five additional ones Apron S (not included) Stands S1 to S15

I found several of these in the Real Traffic schedule They are identical flights, separated by just a few minutes They have different flight numbers but are clearly the same flight As a result In the case of arrivals one aircraft arrives and departs, the other does not In the case of departures one aircraft arrives and departs, the other blocks the gate from the commencement of the game until it departs Here are three examples, but I found several more : AMD, DXB, 320, 6E, 73, 01:56, 12:00, 1, 6E AMD, DXB, 320, 6E, 71, 01:43, 12:00, 1, 6E IKA, DXB, 340, W5, 63, 09:31, 12:00, 1, W5 IKA, DXB, 340, W5, 61, 09:15, 12:00, 1, W5 MCT, DXB, 20N, OV, 247, 10:11, 12:00, 1, OV MCT, DXB, 20N, OV, 243, 09:46, 12:00, 1, OV

Great tools I am now using Schedule and Callsign However, after each use the menu along the bottom obscures the bottom of image created (Schedule) and the search menu (Callsign) Google Chrome

I found numerous errors in the Real Traffic schedule Duplicate aircraft was the biggest issue, and existed in Tower 2011 EGLL as well I even ended up with some in my own, but have now corrected all of them I have not had a duplicate aircraft on the same gate, yet However, I am continually having an error with any aircraft attempting to pushback from Stand C32 Where is the best place to make a report?

I have not read this Please advise where this can be found

I have now had this next one more than three times, issue affecting Stand C32 Any aircraft here accepts commands but does not move Equally, if there is an aircraft on Stand C33 is appears to be blocked Deleting the aircraft on Stand C32 is the only method at the moment to resolve this Please advise

This issue now appears to be resolved Shutdown / restart made no difference Opened the window to get some fresh air, and now all commands are recognised Got me on that one!

1 : No background noise I am aware of, microphone tests show input in the red (ie silence) 2 : I have all these options off, plus the computer speakers are out of the range of the microphone 3 : I had a similar issue with Tower 2011, but only had to complete the third level of speech training to resolve that one; even with completing the advance speech recognition the issue still exists 4 : I do not let go of the shift key at all! An entire phrase goes in, the callsign is incorrect; in some cases the incorrect callsign already exists so I have do delete the entire call

This time it is a Emirates flight DXB - ACC - ABJ ABJ - ACC - DXB It looked strange when two aircraft were next to each other requesting pushback, and then I noticed the Flight Numbers were the same! Sadly not the only one I had overlooked A further Two flyDubai and 13 Emirates Further complicated by discovering two flights also operate a triangle! DXB - CEB - CRK - DXB (Emirates) DXB - PZU - KRT - DXB (flyDubai)

Excellent, some more confirmation about operations at OMDB Remote Stands C31 to C47 are for Terminal 3 / Concourse D They are intended for A340 and B777 only In the game this is termed as Terminal_CargoS It should be a copy of the airlines at Terminal_D In turn that frees up the stands at Terminal_1C for sole use by UAE Sadly Terminal_PadG is actually split into two Stands G1 to G13 are for passenger use, Stands G14 to G21 are not

On advice, decided to create this topic (although some will cover two or more airports shortly) I am nearing the completion of my Real World Schedule It is based on Summer 2019 and what was proposed for Summer 2021 (as many airlines have now deleted their Summer 2020 to avoid confusion) Apart from some silly errors that have sneeked through, such as a blank column, space and wrong Airport IATA code, my first test was successful This is pretty much just all the airlines with Wide Body jets, some of the smaller regional / budget airlines, and the rest I will come to later as many do not yet have their Summer 2021 schedules In some cases I have had to guess the aircraft type as descriptions are either missing, do not match, duplicated or are very vague As an example one airline uses B737, B738, B737-8, B73H, and B737Winglets Clearly two or more people have been creating, editing and saving their schedule! In another the arriving and departing aircraft are different, but with plenty of time for a turnaround either this is an error or only one of the aircraft has been updated but the other has not yet As a result I have some gaps where the aircraft type is not currently in the Real Colours file They may be available in other airport files Ironically, I have found several in the EDDM file which I can use temporarily as they are better options The main issue is some schedules now have the A359 in them, however in some cases the original aircraft is also missing, hence the gap (which I have temporarily filled with one of those available in the ODMB Real Colour pack) The ones with greatest impact are BOLD REAL COLOURS - Aeroflot : A359 not available, replacing A333 Only B738 Missing A333 (KLAX) Daallo Airline : B733 Not available Emirates (Executive) : A319 not available Estonian Air Regional / Salam Air: IATA code is OV, but appears to be Salam Air at OMDB Ethiopian : Missing B787 (EDDF, KLAX, LFPG) Finnair : Missing A321 (also missing from EDDM) (EDDF, LFPG) IndiGo Airlines : A321 not available Only A320 alternative A321N not available Only A320N alternative KLM : Missing B77W (CYVR) Kuwait Airline : A332 Missing A330 (EDDM) Qeshm Air : A320 not available Avro RJ100 not available, replacing Avro RJ85 Only RJ85 alternative S7 Airlines / Siberian Airlines : B738 not available Only A320N Missing A319, A321 Singapore Airlines : Missing A359 (EDDM) Thai Airlines : B788 not available Only A359 No alternatives, possibly 772 / 773 / 77W Turkish Airlines : A359 not available, replacing 332 and 77W CARGO SCHEDULE - Cargo has been the biggest challenge, even though it is such a small operation by comparison! Equally, I assume Tower does not create a duplicate aircraft (raises the question what is minimum dwell time before it does so, just like Tower 2011)
