  1. My FSNav doesn't have any runways.

I also noticed in the top down view, as you increase your alt to get a wider view, at a certian point, the ground rotates, probably from mag heading to true, but I'm not sure.

I drew to the runway headings, but I think I should rotate the drawings a bit for the mag varation. I now have topo maps that are scanned, so I will re-draw it.

Marking the peaks are a real bugger!!!

I'm going on the road next week, that means I can work on it in the evenings.

  3. Holy crap, someone needs to come up with an approach plate for Fritz, 'cause mine wasn't working tonight. He was grumpier than I've seen him in a long time. Anyone know what's up? He muttered something about jets and instruments and some goblelygook about lighting. I was in too much of a hurry to stick around for that rant...

    Scott

Fritz may like a comment about no jets, but what would be the fun in that? He can be like that. What the heck, its only a bunch of ones and zeros

  5. OK... thanks, lets try again, this time I zipped them... they are a first draft, I'm looking for comments and suggestions.

I need to add the mountain peaks, man that will be challenging, as well as some more nav aids locations.

I'm not a pilot, I took other plates and just got examples from them, added a little tongue in cheek.

This is the default Emma, if there are other common that most of us have, like extra ramps etc, I can add them. (I haven't loaded anything extra to Emma.)

(Allowed extensions and sized link produces a fatal error...)

  7. Attached (I think) is the first draft of the approach plate for Emma Rw 36. Its not done yet, I need to add the peaks,,, still thinking about that one...

I need some advice, I don't know what to put down in the lower right section. Anybody?

The file is in PowerPoint... the final version can be in Jpg.

OK... the add attachment didn't seem to work. Ideas?

  9. I agree with using TS more often. It adds to the realism of the MP session and much more fun... It should be the first choice, and then use the chat window if there are problems.

Can TS automatically change channels as you change the freq on comm 1?

  10. Does the YAFSScreen program install in a "standalone" fashion?

I deploy a new software program and we get errors that we need to take screen shots.

Currently, I use FS screen on a USB hard drive because the entire program (one file) sits in a subdir on the USB drive. All I do is stick in the USB drive and run the program. Hit the print screen key and when done, close the program and pull the drive. Then I can let the doctors get on to their business and I go back to my office and write up the problem.

Can YAFSScreen do this, or does it put files in a few places on the hard drive and the entire program isn't on the USB drive.

    Thanks for any insight.
