  1. You Folks are right, but one can alway abuse a simulator. There are countless flight sim videos online where they land upside down and brag how they survived it. I think it gets down to you; how seriously you take it. I think it's no matter how good or bad a sim is it really depends how seriously you take it. Vic
  2. Craig, this is pretty usual for busy airports to hand off the the planes to Departure asap. So if you want to be a better controller I think you can simulate this separation already by considering the destination and instructing the planes to take off from the runways "closer" to their destination airport. Vic
  3. No, we don't support this mod. We never tested it and we are not involved creating or using this mod. Vic
  4. It's likely something on your computer because we didn't receive any other report for this issue. We will release a new version sometimes next week let's see if that will fix the problem. Thank you
  5. I apologise Paul. Seems like age is not taking it's toll on my vision only 🙂 The beer is on me if we ever meet 🙂 Thanks Craig, you are also invited 🙂 Vic
  6. We suggest adding back add-ons one at the time and see which one will cause the crash.
  7. Hello There (can I please get your first name? I would like to address you more politely), Don't worry, I'm with you on the aging eyes 🙂 We test Tower! Simulator 3 on it too and we instantly ran into this issue. So our solution is now shortcut keys to different views (this will be fully customisable and you would be able to save any view). Currently we use TIST for our testbed and I find myself having a preset where I can see the ground radar and the strips mostly. I also made a saved view that simulates "looking over the screens" sort of standing up. It would be a new challenge for sure but it would be more close to real life. For who prefers the "old way" with the floating radars, likely it will be possible too (I'm saying "likely" is because it's planned but not yet implemented). Thank you! Vic
  8. Yes, this is still a thing. I'm sorry I somehow missed your post form July. The reason we don't do that is unfortunate but simple. I'm sure there would be lots of folks like yourself who would understand the terms but the loudest would not and we would receive so much negative feedback it could destroy the release of our main Tower product. So ATCC must wait until the release of Tower! Simulator 3. Thank you Vic
  9. Please reinstall the product and pay attention to the popup during installation. It does explain the install instructions in the window just before this in the installer, but I think most people skip it. It says to replace <USERNAME> with the PC's account name if the game is installed in the default location, otherwise locate the 'Community' folder if the game is installed on a separate drive or unique location.
  10. Likely your path is incorrect, you should not see this error.
  11. Would you please try removing all other add-ons temporary and see if you still get the crahs?
  12. Would you please try installing it again? If the XML would be broken likely we would have much more similar reports. Thank you
  13. Depends from a few things our development blog for October will likely discuss the schedule system we created for Tower! Simulator 3. I just saw it yesterday and to be honest I can't really imagine any weird scenario which would break it (a regional cargo jet flying international with a special livery using a different airline's callsign).
  14. Hello, Does it work at other airports?
  15. It's looking for the plane's type and the time between the arrival and the departure to decide if it's a restarter or a new flight. Vic
  16. Yes, this is pretty high on our list and I personally would like to see it too. No promise but what I'd like to see is somehow detach each screen (scalable, moveable) and also an option to hide the 3D cab view as well. Vic
  17. Absolutely 🙂 These are WIPs of the new 3D radars. We plan to show you some new things each month during our development and in the meantime you will see some unfinished things and placeholders. We would like to get back to our origin where we updated our fans during the development instead of just announcing the project and release it. We are honoured by the community we have here and we feel this is the right thing to show you things even while we work on them. So please expect to some updates in the next few weeks again 🙂 Thank you Vic
  18. Dear Folks, At this time we would like to show you the new 3D tower view and the updated radars and digital strips. For more images and information please head to https://feelthere.com/tower-simulator-developer-blog-3/ Please note these are work in progress images we are still changing and adding features to these screens. No ETA for the release 🙂 You'll notice the images a bit blurrier than before; this is because of the glass reflection and the dirt on them. This is something we are discussing if it's better this way for realism or drop it for a better graphics. As you can see we implemented a little view arc on the ground radar so you'll see where are you looking at. Also all screens are independent so you will be able to set one ground radar to show the whole airport and the other to some other part of the airport at a different zoom setting. The digital strip is fully customisable per each airport. You can set up any rows or columns, custom labels and custom automatisation. We did not forget the multimonitor Folks, we are still working on a multimonitor solution too. Thank you Vic
  19. Today or sometimes in the next few days we will publish our September Development blog (yes, yes I know it's late a bit, but we wanted to show you some cool new feature instead of just another set of screenshots of the airport). Before you comment them, please note these are WIPs so more function will come. In this blog edition we will just introduce these new things (it's so difficult for me to call them "things" instead of .... ah, you'll see them soon 🙂 ) but we wont go into the details. However if you will look at them closely you'll see so many requests from the wishlist, that we already implemented. To answer your "will my computer run it" question; I use the same computer to test the unoptimized (it will be optimized for the release but during development there is no point to do it until the latest stages) Tower! Simulator 3 that I used to test T!3D airports and so far I don't see too much difference in fps. I test it with graphics on max settings. Thank you Vic
  20. We are keep checking this with our pilot testers.
  21. You are right. I think many software including simulators, games etc will eventually get incompatible with the current or next gen hardware/software. Tower!3D was developed about 5-7 years ago. Tower! Simulator 3 will be based on the latest game engine and the latest OS, etc so likely ( we have yet to see the final version of Windows 11) will be compatible with Win 11. It would be pointless to make it work with the beta version as no-one knows what will stay and what will be added into the final version. As of Tower!3D and Win11 I can confirm what Dave said; it's a beta OS so we pretty much can't comment about it. Thank you Vic
  22. You can read about the upcoming Tower version here: https://feelthere.com/news/
  23. Hi Christoph, You are right, your hardware is way better than mine and it shouldn't be the bottleneck. Could you please see any software (including antivirus) running inthe background? Thank you Vic
  24. Folks, If it happens at various frequency (I mean in every 4, 11 or 13 times) it's not the wav file we supply. It could be pretty much anything, from CPU, memory, anything that prevents playing the software to play the loops on time. My other hobby is music and I've heard this in various DAWs too; if you run low on memory or your CPU load is high this can happen. Please try to close all other applications and remove any other 3rd party and see if that helps. Thank you Vic
