FeelThere_Vic
Dear Folks, While it's not an official announcement but we would like you to know we have tested Tracon on Windows 10 and so far everything is working. It seems like we should be fine running Tracon on Windows 10. Thank you Vic
Paulo Romeira
Hi ! What about Tower 2011 ? Paul
FeelThere_Vic
Hi Paulo, Windows 10 just came out a few days ago and we had a weekend too :) Please be patient and we report back as soon as we can. However both of them use the same engine so I would assume Tower (multiplayer) would run on Windows 10 too but I can't yet confirm. If any of you have a positive or negative expereince, please post it here. Please note only Tracon and the multiplayer version of Tower is supported beyond Windows 7. 707FAN
Like many others who purchased Tower2011 very early in its release and have used it since then, I purchased only the single player version as at that time that was all that I required. Now as stated above, the single player version has not been supported after Windows 7. I think it would be a good jesture on Feelthere's part to offer the latest multiplayer Tower version to those early single player supporters of Tower at a reduced price, rather than have to purchase a multi player version at full price. I have not seen any statements in the past that Tower single player support was dropped after Wnidows 7. Give us players who have supported the products from the start and bought many add-on's a chance to get the latest multi player versions at a reduced price as most will be going over to Win 10 in the future. Kev M Brisbane QLD australia
FeelThere_Vic
Kev, First of all Tower single is a 4 years old product so I believe we supported it for a quite while and we also dropped Tower multi's original price by almost 50% on feelThere.com :) However to work on the solution rather on excuses during the summer we ran several discounts on all of our products (was announced in our newsletter and Facebook page). It's still not too late as we will have a weekly countdown to back to school starting this week and I'm almost certain Tower multi will be discounted too :)
707FAN
Yeh, I sort of figured that that would be whats happening. I will keep my eye out to see if it comes on special  Kev M Brisbane Australia
Terry Latting
I suggest you dont even upgrade to windows 10. It is a horrible platform and will be nothing but a headache in the future. My opinion.
707FAN
This subject has gone very quite of late. Has anyone had real success with Tower & windows 10. I still run Win7 waiting for some information such as speech recognition, program running etc. I don't have the luxury of another unit to put win 10 & tower on to see how it works. What is the feeback on win10 & tower/Tracon ops. :???: Kev M Brisbane Australia
FeelThere_Vic
Kev, We had some successful session with Tracon on W10. We can confirm the voice recognition is working on W10 without any additional settings if you upgrade from W8.1 like we did. I expect no problem with Tower multi either as it is built on the same platform. but we still need to test it to make sure.
Speedbird001
I recently installed Windows 10 Pro from Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. Tower 2011 SP1 Multi initially had issues, then my shortcuts didnt work. I have since uninstalled the program and Windows 10 wont allow me to re-install. Anyone having similar issues? FeelThere_Vic
Come on Dave... He would never say such a thing :) Beside the jokes; can you please post any positive W10 feedbacks so we could see how is it working on computers outthere? We would appreciate it a lot. Thank you
mmetzger
I have been running both Tower and Tracon with Windows 10 since the day after it was available, both running without issues. Speech recognition is working great. The computer was upgraded from windows 8.1, neither tower, nor Tracon, required a reload when I upgraded the OS. Alec Coté
I have been running tower2011 on windows 10, and things go well for about 5 mins. Usually after that, the voice recognition just completly stops and will not understand anything I say. Other than that, that's the only issue I have been having.
