C_M
Been running KMCO with RealTraffic and RealColor for a few months. Here are a couple suggestions: 1. Aircraft arriving on 18R will only exit on taxiway Y, making for long post-landing runway exit times. 2. Cargo aircraft and GA aircraft do not exit towards the cargo/GA ramps (west side of airport). They all turn towards the terminals, causing the aircraft to taxi the long way around. 3. Wind direction seems to generally be from the East. In Central Florida, prevailing winds are usually from the North or South, not East or West (although that does occur, just not very often). 4. Some taxiways (IRL) are designed to intersect for easier maneuvering. In Tower!3D Pro, not all of these taxiways "join" together correctly. i.e.: intersection of B, B5, and B6, and intersection of H5 and E. 5. Approach lights at south ends of runways are sequenced backwards... they appear to be sequenced away from the runway, instead of towards it. I LOVE the detail in the scenery, and it's a lot of fun to control at this airport... well done! Would just like to forward my observations. Pedantic G
Hi C_M, Re your comment 2. Cargo aircraft and GA aircraft do not exit towards the cargo/GA ramps (west side of airport). They all turn towards the terminals, causing the aircraft to taxi the long way around One way to get around this when using 18R that I use is to issue the command as an example "FDX11 VACATE RUNWAY RIGHT ONTO TAXIWAY A2" when on final approach or just as its landed prior to the successful landing message. I use this for Cargo or GA traffic all the time and even use Right onto taxiway J for some of the smaller GA traffic as well. This saves the long taxiing around the houses. If you look in the Tower!3D Pro User Manual - Annotated topic on the forum first page there are a lot of useful commands that you can use to enhance the operating experience, for example this is the section on arriving aircraft: ARRIVALS There are other cleared to land commands available as spoken commands only CALLSIGN, RUNWAY XX CLEARED TO LAND HOLD SHORT OF TAXIWAY #taxiway1 FOR CROSSING TRAFFIC (the airplane will try to stop before the named taxiway) CALLSIGN, RUNWAY XX CLEARED TO LAND HOLD SHORT OF RUNWAY XX FOR CROSSING TRAFFIC (the airplane will try to stop before the named runway) You can also issue the following verbal commands too during the approach phase: CALLSIGN, EXIT AT TAXIWAY #taxiway1 (the airplane will try to exit at the named taxiway) CALLSIGN, VACATE RUNWAY LEFT ONTO TAXIWAY #taxiway1 (the airplane will try to exit at the named taxiway towards the requested direction) CALLSIGN, VACATE RUNWAY RIGHT ONTO TAXIWAY #taxiway1 (the airplane will try to exit at the named taxiway towards the requested direction Rgds Gary

707FAN
1. Regarding the taxiway exits, in Tower 2011 & it seems to be a leftover in 3D, the A/C will always leave the runway towards the side with the most bays (gates). Therefore for anything going to cargo or GA you need to specify for the A/C to exit towards that direction. 2. I always put GA's & CGO A/c onto 18R or 36L to keep it easy to get rid of them after landing. After all the whole idea of ATC controllers is to get them OFF or ON safely & get rid of them to someone else ASAP. LOL. Kev M
