Good day all,
First, thanks for bearing with me. Been working on a few projects and some re-writes and various other items to make sure you guys have the most elite setups as possible. KLAS GA traffic schedule has been re-written, restored, and working better than ever.
****Please make sure you go to the original post on this topic and visit the dropbox. Pick up ALL 4 OF THE NEW FILES ! Follow the directions in the read-me.
EDITS --1-11-2018
>>> Fixed Airlines schedule that had a couple typo characters causing certain flights not to appear
>>> Fixed terminal file to remove EJA from Terminal A and return all EJA flights to the GA terminal. EJA will not appear on the GA Terminal line but will flow in-game
>>> Removed all EJA flights from the airline schedule that were previously listed - replacing in the GA file
>>> Added updated Airlines file with updated callsigns for various airlines, codings, and added some missing airlines needed for flight schedulesJoe -

First of all kudos to the developers! As both a pilot and a software developer, I can definitely appreciate the intricacies of creating a product like this. You've done a fantastic job, and the voice recognition is superb.
First, one bug that I've noticed: Aircraft landing on runway 25L at LAX that exit on the first taxiway (H1), when instructed to taxi (no matter how .. via H, via H1 H) always turn around and go back out onto the runway then down taxiway gulf. Unless there is adequate separation with landing traffic, I usually just delete the planes that exit on H1.
Now, a suggestion: At LAX, the crossing taxiways between B and C (C1, C2, C3, C4, C5...) (and all other airports with short crossing taxiways) are not depicted in any way (even when zooming in). If they are actually in the game (I have not tested), it would be useful to depict them as it would be nice to issue "HOLD SHORT" commands using these taxiways.
Two items that should help you out.....
For the H1 -- It's not a bug, it's direction. I've included the screen cap of H1 at LAX and the nearby G taxiway on the left. H1 permits taxi eastbound towards 25R. The nearby G taxiway is basiscally at 90degrees to all other routes that meet it so it allows turns to the right or left to go on H as needed. Easy to remember -- H1 is built as a highspeed for 7R (i.e. why it's shape is similar to H3 which is also a eastbound taxi only as well.) So any smaller jets such as (Skywest, BUG, Lakes Air, etc) that get off on H1 you need to issue them a taxi for H - J - B - (then whatever subsequent) to get them to the terminal. Remember, H ends and J gets picked up, so if you only tell it H, the system says "well great, you want H, but H can't go left, so where next?" You don't need to give H1 to get the plane going when they're already on H1 at that point .
To pair this with your 2nd question, go here : http://www.airnav.com/airport/KLAX Down the right side is the Airport Diagram (pdf). Highly recommend saving the link to the page as the ground chart gets updated. Print it out or put it on your second monitor when you play the game. Easy to reference when you need to make a callout that is not listed.

As a Commercial pilot flying into LAX for years, i have never been cleared to land on the inner runways (24L, 25R) they always use the inner runways for departure, while playing the simulator 90% of arrivals are for the inner runways and just a suggestion it makes it lot more realistic to have the arrival aircrafts check in for outer runways (25L, 24R). Really enjoy the simulator great job.
Also when it gets very busy the taxi instruction do not work as they should and if two airplanes are head to head now we have to exit the simulator it would be a nice feature to be able to make corrections in this scenario, i know it would not be realistic but when the airplanes do not accept the taxi instructions then there is no way to get around this issue.
Thanks
If something does not accept voice command you can still use the bar at the top of the game and click the destination for the plane. Incredibly rare to have to delete anything in game

Hey AJ,
You referenced the ASAP fix for this penalty bug. Whats the ETA on this fix?

ATControl-Joe,
I downloaded your custom files and did a video today and I want to thank you for your time and effort you put into this work. I did ok, but I'm still a beginner, thanks again.

Appreciate it. Keep grinding.

I think the post is being missed here. The picture at is rwy 9 at BOS. There is no reason to have red lifhts on the runway when there is no incursion issue AND yes at the ends of runways there are red lights in the direction the plane is FACING. Not where the plane is sitting for departure. In my image the plane is lined up on rwy 9 for departure...for no reason would a set of red lights be in front of the departing jet unless it was at the far end. And yes, pull up Boston, put the field lights on and multiple runways have full length red lights. I just didn’t clip the picture for every single one as one picture advises of the issue
-
It’s not a different issue. It’s runway lights that are red which is the same thing as the topic was started on

Joe even though having the correct colors is good. But how does it affect the sim
It doesn't affect the sim, but it's an error and should be changed

Stop loading at 63% usually indicates an unknown aircraft type in the schedule.txt.
Maybe something has changed in the airplanes.txt
Please see above conversation. the issue is being review and fixed. Thanks.

Turned on the field lights for a night session at PHX and a runway color error exists. I have clipped in a couple pictures to show the issues. (Thx to pilot BAM who's home airport is PHX for the confirm on the colors)
1. Runway lights -- In game -- Red band up the center of the runway, entire length. Real colors at airport should be white edge lights, no band of lights up the center and only white lights in the center of the runway are those that mark the high-speed turnoffs and less-bright center line. The only time a permanent red center line would be a conflict-situation where the lights would change, but in no case should ALL runways be permanently red.

I've done the following and gone to load KLAS and it stops at 63% also :\
Going back to check the files today. Give me a little while today and I'll find out what's up. I have an idea of what it probably is. Fix is on the way.

Cargo landing 25L can easily be sent to the cargo ramp with F-G4-H4-H -- I used it multiple times in my last video, works every time.

Well...to put in perspective ....good computer gaming monitors on average have a response time of 1-4 ms. Trying to match quality between a large tv and an avg gaming monitor is not exactly easy. And computer monitors are measured in ms response for Black to white and back to black pixel change. Tv’s measure how many frames can be displayed per second. Not sure of the science in matching those but ...I think it speaks clear that most pro gamers do not use TVs anymore these days bc your quality goes way up on computer monitors —games are built on computer monitors not Large TV screens so naturally your better experience is w the comp monitor. Will the game run on a TV...sure. Will you get the same quality.....maybe? W a game as slow as tower it may not matter bc you’re not talking a high-FPS game like call of duty or something. Can’t speak about quality of a computer based site like Steam though since I don’t know their back-end build/design but I’m sure like any other site it’s optomized for your average computer screen size. That’s just coming from web design background work that optimization rules, and experience/performance changes when you change view area.

Is there a way to find out which terminal the aircraft on final will be parking at? like in LAX all landings are 25L and 24R and departures the inside runways, so it be better to clear the airplane to the south runway or north depending on where they park.
Thanks
When you call an aircraft and give landing clearing the terminal lights up. Unfortunately the game does not provide a definitive gate on where they are going until a terminal clearance is given. Best way to learn terminal locations is keep playing the game and remembering where airlines park until the developers fix the terminal/gate system.

Joe,
Don't give up! The earlier post by crbascott suggests a good work around which will restore EJA to the GA ramp.
I’m not going to waste time and go back and rewrite those flights right now. Got better things to do. You guys can rewrite them for your own files and make changes if you want
-
It was working fine for me having EJA at the GA terminal with EJA in the regular schedule -- up until I added the new PHX DLC yesterday with the updated real traffic file -- then EJA would not work and neither would GA. I assumed it was a change with the code of Real Traffic that messed it up. If not, then oh well, EJA can fly out of terminals. It doesn't matter.
-
Due to the developers choice to alter traffic files, EJA flights can no longer depart from the GA Terminal. Due to this choice that they made, my custom traffic files have been altered.
*** Please go to the original post on this topic and visit the Dropbox link to pick up .... 1. Terminal file
** You will need to replace this file with your game files so that GA traffic can flow.
Thanks.

Craig,
AH HAA, That might explain why I have not seen any GA traffic at KLGA. I have put this on the back burner whilst trying to sort out the 2 short problem.
Over to you guys

Go to the original post in this thread and visit the drop box to pick up the new terminal file. It will fix this issue. Thanks.

Go pick up the custom schedule I've already created for LAS. It fixes ALL the terminal problems that exist with the stock files.

I've never used Dropbox before. So the actual files have to be downloaded with the blue button in the upper right corner? I was copying the web page and trying to paste that in the folder since it said "txt" but it still doesn't answer the larger question. Other than the airfield folder where do they go? Exactly?
Yeah just DL the files to your computer and then replace them with the correct folder locations

Does it make any difference whether it's Windows 7 or Windows 10? I'm trying it on the Win 7 computer instead of the Win 10 setup I have.
Only difference is you don't get both male and female voices in W7. Windows 10 gives better speech recognition and extra voices.

Awesome. Only thing left is for the developers to fix the terminal problem preventing incoming flights and this airport will be legit
