    Cant reinstall FSC9 (solved)

    Hi Maurice,

    The FlightSim Commander is not the cause of your problem.
    In most cases it is the problem of a wrong first installation.
    I found the following information on the Internet. Many users had success with this information.
    If successfull, then it's absolutely necessary to read and follow the documents regarding the installation.

    When installing your software for a second time the installer says
    that it is already installed after you know you removed it

    with the Add/Remove utility in Windows.

     

    Please try the following.

     

    Open the following folder.

    C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallShield Installation Information  folder, make a temp folder outside of this folder and move

    all the folders inside the InstallShield Installation Information folder into this temp folder then try re-installing.

    If it then re-installs fine move all the folders back out from the temp folder back to the original location.

     

    This is a "Hidden" folder so if you cant see it you will need to change the
    "Hidden File and Folder" option in Windows Explorer to show them.

    Hello Paul,

    LogmeIn Hamachi is not known to me. So I can't make a statement for it.
    VATSIM Traffic works fine for all VatSim User

    AI traffic in FSC switched on?
    Do you see any AI Traffic in Flight Simulator?
    The FSUIPC is out of date. Update to version 4.996c required.
    Any error message from the FlightSim Commander?
    Connection between FSC and FSX     successful?

    ... then you have read this text:
    The version FlightSim Commander 9.6. Rev.7  must be installed correctly
    in order to upgrade to FlightSim Commander 9.6. Rev.8 to install.

    In other words, a full installation is required.

    Transatlantic flight time, real v fs9 (answered)

    Hi Rory,

    the flight plan, created by FlightSim Commander,  based solely on the performance data of the selected aircraft and the distance.
    Neither climb nor descend is taken into this flight plan.
    The wind, especially the Jetstream Westbound or Eastbound are not included.

    During the flight, speed, climb, descend, Flight Level, Head-, Tail-, and Crosswind and all other factors lead to real-time data,
    which are recalculated every second.
    (Assuming a connection between FlightSim Commander and Flight Simulator)

    Unfortunately you do not mention either the type of aircraft or the departure airport.

    Google reports from EGLL to KJFK
    BA, Delta, Virgin..... Westbound are needed about 7:40 and 8:10 hours

    Google reports from KJFK to EGLL:
    BA, Delta, Virgin..... Eastbound are needed about 6:50 - 7:10 hours.
