  1. And a Happy New Year to You Don

Great to see you back in the simworld

Great to see you here Per, and thank you very much. I never really left. I just changed from bush to GA. Now that Holger has me going on this stuff, and I am messing with Richard's Emma, I feel a tug at bush AND GA! LOL! I will say this....The best and most helpful folks (IMHO) in simming are the bush / GA folks. (incoming from the heavy drivers!) As long as I associate with either, I'm in good company!

(I do like heavies too....OLD heavys that swung props, NOT compressor blades!)

  2. Thanks folks, for all the kind words. There is going to be a slight delay. Something was bugging me about this scenery. Since Holger has given us frozen water, I wanted to take advantage of it. I need to make the boats seasonal, so they are not there during winter. As soon as I get an answer on how to do it (I knew years ago, but all that info is GONE!), I'll make it available to you all. :)

  3. Howdy,

wow, I guess what I should have done is give away Misty Fjords and charge developers per acre of built-up land. Looks like Don is ready to move in with his harem

Very nice, Don! Any hints where it'll be located, just so that we can study the maps?

    Cheers, Holger

Snowy Owl is 28 miles from PAKT on a heading of 28*. HOLGER!!....I never thought of that! A fly-in cathouse! I KNOW I could make money with that! Time to change all the signs! LOL!

  4. Those are the 31" tires. They also make a set of 39" tires! LOL! They look a little weird, but they fly them like this all the time. They are not cheap either! These are great for gravel beaches or small sandbars. They carry about 8psi of air. Pretty cool and necessary in the bush! It's always a good idea to take big rubbers when you head out looking for tight bush!

  5. Hi buddy. I found all those you were tlaking abou. They had all be renamed "stitch". I happened to have a backup of that file with all the RD's in it. I copied and pasted them back in, and all is well. Roads are back. This is strange! LOL! I appreciate the hint. That fixed it. THANKS!!

  6. I went buzzing around Alaska today and discovered something. All my roads are gone! I have rivers and powerline paths, but no roads. I went to MF, and all was fine there. I went to Beaver, in the Yukon, and no roads there either. I went to the US and had them and I also went to Germany, and all was well there too. Where can I look for my road bgl's and what are they called for those areas. I had them not too long ago. Thanks for any help.

    Don

  7. You are now officially stuck with me!! :D Francois just sent me my EFC numbers! I will see you all on the ramp, and later on we can enjoy a nice bier in the club house. Francois....make sure they stock some Späten!
