SHIFT button

Someone has said about changing the Shift button status so that windows doesn't show the message about using it 5 times or more, it's on the forum somewhere any help would be great.

As I recall, when that annoying message comes up, it tells you somewhere on there where to go to change it.  Read it carefully the next time it pops up.

Can't remember the exact words used but when the box opens click on the link, which will give you the option to turn it off.

Sorted, I didn't open Pro I just pressed SHIFT until the box appeared then followed the link to disable the sticky key

Did that work? I have disabled the sticky key function many times but always within the sim. There must be a way to disable it permanently within Win 10.

To feelthere, how hard it it to go back to the tab key? I still hit it occasionally by mistake.

This option is called "Sticky Keys" and is found under the "Accessibility" options in the configuration screen. Not sure where in Win10 as I'm still on Win7

I have to add that my keyboard actually lacks the left shift key so if it would be user configurable to change the key I would be happy, or perhaps bring back the tab key.

Yes, go to Settings and then type Keyboard in search box.  Mine came up with "Ease of access, Keyboard settings" that I clicked to take me to disable Sticky.
