  1. Provide more information! What happens when you run the installer? Do you have an installation log (it will be in folder you selected for installation and in the folder from where you ran the installer)? If so, please attach so I can take a look. John
  2. I already answered your questions when you posted in another thread. To repeat: You install FSUIPC4 in the sim, and you can install before or after you install your 737NG. Folks are using FSUIPC4 with the iFly 7s7NG (e.g. see You can always download and install an unregistered version. Then take a look at the provided documents to see the extra facilities provided by registration to determine if you would like to purchase a license or not (as no refunds are given). John
  3. It should be there still. Note that all documents, including this one, have now moved to your Windows Documents folder, in a subfolder called FSUIPC6. Please check there. The installation document should tell you where things are installed - though I'm not sure this one is mentioned (I'll check). The fixed version is no longer included as it was redundant.
  4. Hi Tony, not sure what the issue is, but I'll investigate. For now, I've PM'ed you a key file that you can use. John
  5. First, you posted in the FAQ sub-forum. Please post in the main support forum, or you post may be missed (or deleted). I have moved your post for you. There are also many posts with the same problem and solutions - did you look? Please try to do so before posting, as most problems have been asked before (and many times...!). For example, for your problem, please see these posts: and also this sticky post if you are using the latest FSX-SE beta (you don't mention which sim you are using): If thats not your issue, then we need to see your install log. John
  6. Yes, sorry about that - thats actually the version of FSUIPC, not the version of the installer. FSUIPC6 hasn't changed, only the installer. I don't think the version number of the installer is visible or even logged at the moment. I'll rectify that. I'm glad it's now working. Cheers, John
  7. Yes, thats the way to do it. The FSUIPC6.ini will be a default/empty ini created when you ran P3D. John
  8. Sorry, just re-read your post and you seem to be experiencing a different issue, as it is saying that your WideFS7 registration details are not valid. Try with the updated installer anyway, and I'll see if I can retrieve your WideFS7 key details to check here. John
  9. Hi, Tony, there was a problem in the installer - please see this post: It has been corrected. Please download the updated installer and try again. Sorry for this. John
  10. If that is your issue (different name and/or email), it should now be fixed in the latest installer. Please download and try again. John
  11. Different name/address for the different keys? If so, see my previous post....
  12. Are you both using a different name and/or email address for each product? If so, I can see the problem and will fix it shortly. The installer is also writing the WideFS name/address to the key file for FSUIPC6 instead of the correct ones. You can manually change this by editing your FSUIPC6.key file, and put the correct Name and Address for FSUIPC6. Otherwise, I'll upload a new installer shortly with this corrected. Sorry about this.... John
  13. Could you let me know your order numbers (not other details please - I can retrieve them!) and I'll check your keys here...
  14. Are you entering both FSUIPC6 and WIDEFS keys and clicking the 'Register' button? If you do this, you should get two pop-ups, confirming registration success or otherwise for each key. What do you see? It doesn't matter - it will just remove and re-install. There were some changes made to the installer earlier today, to handle WideFS registration without FSUIPC6 registration. I've just checked here and registering just one or the other seems to be functioning correctly. Could you try downloading the latest installer and running again please. Thanks, John
  15. If thats a message from the add-on, then you need the support of the add-on provider. Is FSUIPC4 installed correctly - can you see it in your Add-on menu? One thing to note is that if your sim is started with admin privileges (as it usually is if installed in your Programs folder), then any 3rd party software that communicates with FSUIPC must also be started with the same privileges, otherwise it cannot connect. John
  16. FSUIPC6 is now available for purchase... John
  17. Sorry, not possible. It should be available via SimMarket later today, please be patient.... John
  18. Please see the installation manual for details on what is installed and where. When you uninstall FSUIPC5 it will remove the documents installed by that version. As you have expanded the Lua examples, it will not pick this up so will not remove these and therefore not remove the FSUIPC documents folder that is under your Modules folder. You can manually remove this if you like. For FSUIPC6, documents are now installed in your Windows 'Documents' folder, in a subfolder called FSUIPC6. John
  19. I've now updated (and uploaded) the installer to allow you to only register WideFS7. I'd still like to update it to make it easier to use, maybe by pre-populating the details if the installer finds an existing key file, but that will have to wait until things have calmed down a bit.... John
  20. For the time being, I've updated the Installation manual to include details of how to register WideFS7 without an FSUIPC6 key. As I said, I will correct the installer for this use-case over the coming days. Sorry that I missed this! Regards, John
  21. Thanks Pete, was just about to look into this but you beat me to it!
  22. Keys for WideFS7 are valid for FSUIPC6, so no need to re-purchase. John
  23. First, you are hijacking an unrelated post - in future please create a new topic if there isn't an existing (newish) topic that is relevant. Well, that depends upon your problem! You install FSUIPC4 in the sim, and you can install before or after you install your 737NG. Folks are using FSUIPC4 with the iFly 7s7NG (e.g. see You can always download and install an unregistered version. Then take a look at the provided documents to see the extra facilities provided by registration to determine if you would like to purchase a license or not (as no refunds are given). John
  24. Yes, sorry. You should be able to register your WideFS7 license without having an FSUIPC6 key. I will update the installer to allow this. Glad you found the solution though! John
  25. First, you posted in the FAQ section. Please always request support via the main Support forum. I have moved your post for you. You can download from here: FSUIPC4.zip So you have downloaded it and ran the installer? To register, you need to use all 3 details (name, email address, key) EXACTLY as specified in your simmarket account - copy and paste to be sure. There have been no changes in FSUIPC4 since February 2018, so its probably the same version. Not sure what you mean by this...the installer won't copy the dll if you have the same or a later version already installed. Note that if you are running the new FSX-SE beta, you should read this post: and maybe also this: John
