I would say your slightly wrong I have no problem coming in gear down full flap to EGLC just have to be configured and at speed before the glide-slope. I suspect your flaring too late or too little. Or maybe even too early and just sinking as you loose speed. The function your talking about is the steep app function whicj is not a standard option in the E170-195 but something that is added by the company ordering. Maybe if we could just be aloud to manually deploy spoilers we could simulate it better.

WOW. All I will say is that its not a “cheap” add on so yes people do expect a lot. Im not sure what you want people to say about the debs working in their spare time. I guess its a business so thats not really something people think about. Ill say that the fix list will have made the jet much mire enjoyable to fly.

I really hope they fix the climb rate shooting up and the overspeed issues. says they have in other tread but I will believe when I see it.

just to chime in the descent is not managed well by the FMC/AP i experience this every flight. i fine the A/T wont Idle quick enough sometimes to keep speed down. I overcome this like i said by adjusting the descent profile to 260/M.70/2. hopefully whatever FDE tweaks you done to stop the [fast] climb rate will also help this. -- Edit mods: adjusted tone of post to but not content

in the descent setup i find the defaults are to fast for the aircraft to handle. i use 260/.70/2 or 2.5

vic I like the product but for anyone like me who had version 2 you have used a lot of the same programming for the nav and displays. why try to pull the wool over our eyes just admit it you tried to save money by reusing the systems.
