the reason is that this is how, according to a person that works(ed) at the real world airport tower, the radars are oriented. there was a long discussion about this in the old forum ... sadly all lost do to hackers and spammers.

the firewall is likely blocking MAP from 'talking' with the client and/or the client from 'talking' with the host and/or both. you need to look at MAP's manual about the ports used to 'talk' and review your computers' and router's firewall control systems.

usual issue is your firewall on one of, or both, computers. after that the issue is the firewall on your router.

the point of the game, FSPassengers, is you build experience and then can fly larger planes. fly more and gain the necessary experience. in there real world there are reasons and 'so close' don't cut it. or don't 'play' FSPassengers and just fly the Ejet.

don't think FMS's can do this ... the arc is displayed so you can hand fly the plane.

the 777 and 380 are not feelThere products. contact wilco for the 777 (assuming your have wilco' plane) and wilco for the 380. contact Navigraph concerning problems with their installer.

multiplayer TOWER 2011 and TRACON were designed from the start to work together. specifics are outlined in the TRACON manual.

two things (if i have it right) have changed on your system - * new GPU * steam edition v. the DVD installed version of FSX. as you didn't have the issue before i would first work on the GPU. as noted before the ERJ wasn't designed for 'steam'. some folks can't even get the gauges to show. a steam edition will be looked at after other projects are completed.

so it may be your GPU driver isn't correctly installed. or it is an issue related to the 'steam' edition.

your computer is unable to keep up with FS's graphics needs. by reducing the gauge refresh rates you reduce the demands on the computer's CPU. also ... the ERJv2 isn't designed to work on 'steam' as this version of FS didn't exist when the plane was developed. also, it seems, that steam isn't following the SDK as released for FSX.

actually ... Peidmont still exists and flies with planes painted as US Airways and American Eagle - http://piedmont-airlines.com somewhat simplified a plane files under the registration of the owner regardless of the logo painted on the exterior.

Matthijus: rarely is a chart update going to be all that different. sometimes the update is formatting. i recommend you use the updated chart and see if it works with the older route programmed into TRACON.
