  1. 'lonian': please provide more detail, a specific aircraft/flight, and the log file as outlined here - http://forum.simflight.com/topic/76182-reporting-a-problem-checklist/ also, was TRACON working before?
  2. Gareth: please review the rules concerning addons for Tower. the policy is outlined in the manual. after reading please contact feelThere.
  3. 'P': did you set your computer to US-English? this is required. see also - http://forum.simflight.com/topic/76185-installing-tower-and-tracon-101/
  4. the MAP! incorporated into the Ejetv2 cannot be used with other aircraft. if you want to use MAP! in other planes you need to purchase the 'free standing' version - http://www.feelthere.com/cate_id_52.html
  5. no you cannot set a different key command for PTT.
  6. J Wy: without a log file no support can be provided. please review the 'sticky thread' titled REPORTING A PROBLEM CHECKLIST.
  7. my opinion is your laptop 'can't keep up' with FS's demands. as a result the computer is 'downgrading' the visuals in order to keep the game running.
  8. 'reg': laptop for FS ... well this usually doesn't work. there are VERY VERY VERY few laptops made that can correctly run FS. what you are describing and pictures shared exactly like the computer is underpowered for FS (see below) and/or the settings are incorrect (see below). what videocard is installed? is the videocard 'on board' the CPU? is the videocard using 'shared memory'. is the GPU driver up-to-date? if the driver up-to-date was the driver correctly installed after the old driver being correctly uninstalled (ie, cleaned completely from the computer)? what are the laptop's specifics? the OS tells us little. need to know - CPU computer's memory GPU (graphics processing unit) & memory are FS's and the GPU's resolutions on the same setting?
  9. back in the early 80s IBM decided to outsource the OS and most of the hardware development for the PC. this resulted in multiple builders and version of the OS. now, many years later, different computers will work differently because of different OS, hardware and software interactions (Apple went the other way, except for a short period, and keeps everything 'in-house'). in general no compatibility mode works ... sometimes it does (see above).
  10. contact BMTmicro - 1-800-414-4268 have your order email and credit card information. once you re-download your product burn it to a DVD! on the DVD include the installer and a notepad (aka, txt) document that includes the product key.
  11. 'XE': which specific product? (there are two ERJ products). from whom did you purchase the product?
  12. ATCC is the third component of the ATC suite. Tower, Tracon and ATCC are the three 'parts' of the world's ATC system. details - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air_traffic_control Tower (multiplayer), Tracon and ATCC can be played together with multiple people. so ... ATCC isn't the same as Tower or Tracon,
  13. Scot: turn off the nose wheel limiter.
  14. 'scoot': are you taking off in a crosswind? do you use rudder peddles? have you turned off the nose wheel limiter on the configuration utility? also, all posts require you list the information outlined here - http://forum.simflight.com/topic/76164-forum-rules-please-read-first/
  15. 'scoot': TCS is a temporary disconnect of the autopilot. when the TCS buttom is pressed the pilot manually flies the plane. When the bottom is released the autopilot holds the new attitude.
  16. Jan: reads like your videocard driver isn't correct ... windows likely installed a default driver (unless you forced the system to install the correct and most up-to-date driver).
  17. 'goose': tower and tracon are stand along programs. for trancon and tower to be played together, meaning multiple folks using a network, you must have multi-player version of tower (tracon is 'multiplayer' by default. and the 'issues' are?? be sure to read the 'reporting a problem checklist' before answering - http://forum.simflight.com/topic/76182-reporting-a-problem-checklist/ --
  18. see - http://forum.simflight.com/topic/64319-erj-v2-freeware-repaint-available-feelthere-model/
  19. 'v': what steps have you taken, in detail? have you followed the steps in the installer 101 sticky?
  20. Noel: the compressed file is an exe (at least when you purchase from feelThere) the Phenom is an LE product - Sometimes you just want to fly, or you are new to flight simulation, and don't wish spend 30 minutes preflighting an aircraft. Maybe today you don't want to spend much effort to create a flightplan and programming a flight management computer. feelThere LE aircraft are designed to be detailed enough to immerse you in the simulation experience and quickly get into the air from power-up to takeoff. Many systems are modeled, just not every system. You will find the level of detailed is greater than any flight simulator default aircraft. The systems that are modeled behave correctly; or are only slightly simplified. LE aircraft are designed for fun … which is the point for playing Microsoft's Flight Simulator. the Phenom's FMC is the FS GPS is being used with a 'visual overlay'. this means that there is no update available from navigraph (unless they figure out how to update the FS 'FMC' database).
  21. did windows just do an update prior to problem? did you install any other programs just prior to problem?
  22. 'bir': yes there service and cargo doors do open with <shift><e><2> or ther Ejet series. consider changing the door command to <d>. much easier as the 'three key' option doen't work the best for the reasons i oulined above.
