  1. Hi Chris, Have you gone through the Network setup steps in the AS Manual? Checked firewalls on both computers for access? Started up AS on the client machine? Pete will jump in with the Wide FS information, but please post at our forum at AVSIM or e-mail me if you need more help with Active Sky. Thanks!
  2. Hi, 1. If you are using FSUIPC 3.48, Pete is going to ask you to update to the latest supported version. 2. If you have set maximum visibility to 20SM in Active Sky you should get that visibility at any altitude. Thanks,
  3. Hi, Is this for FS04 or FSX?
  4. Hi, No, I don't believe so. FS Nav runs inside of FS.
  5. Hi, We will need to wait until Pete comes home.
  6. Hi, Vista or XP?
  7. Hi, And if you are using FS04: Download the correct version Open the zip file. Copy the FSUIPC.dll file. Paste it in your FS\Modules folder.
  8. Hi, Go to your SimMarket account, look at order history and it should be there.
  9. Hi, Make sure everything is entered exactly correct. Copy and paste works best!
  10. Hi Pete, FYI, he did get everything worked out and his FS04-FSUIPC-Active Sky are all communicating now. He and I exchanged a number of e-mails this week!
  11. No, no simconnect.dll in the Modules folder.
  12. Hi, Did you go here and read and do everything?: viewtopic.php?f=54&t=58095
  13. Hi, For the first part: With version 4 for FSX, you do not move a .dll, but you run an installer to get FSUIPC correctly installed in FSX. Did you run the installer or just move the .dll?
  14. Hi, Your Windows registry has lost track of FSX. You can use the free regisrty fixer program from Flight1. It is here: http://www.flight1software.com/files/FSRepair.exe
  15. Hi, Open the downloaded .zip file. Copy the fsuipc.dll file. Paste that one file in your FS04/Modules folder. That's all there is to it!!
  16. James, Make sure auto-pilot is not On on your plane. Yes, you can set maximum visibility in Active Sky. On the Options screen make sure Enforce Visibility Limits is checked On and then fill in your minimum and maximum visibilities. Save your settings and make sure you re-start AS and FS to see your new limits. Thanks!
  17. It's a false positive. Turn off your anti-virus and safely download and unzip the files. Then turn AV back On.
  18. Hi Pete, Is this with ASX weather? I just need to know because there are a few reports of this at our place.
  19. Hi, Version 1.0 is super old and is not supported. You'll want to go here and get the latest: http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html
  20. Hi, Wide FS has no effect on your graphics so don't purchase for that. I would start by uninstalling your video drivers, using a driver cleaner and then re-installing your video drivers.
  21. Hi, Pete is gone for about 10 days, but you can check your account at SimMarket and see if your order history is there. Thanks,
  22. Hi, Make sure your FSX is updated to at least SP1.
  23. Hi Pete, Just know that, as always, I am watching this area, and we are letting users know as much as possible.
  24. Hi, Yes, you will need keys for both. You can get a bundle package here: http://secure.simmarket.com/product_infcts_id=538 At the top of the page you can "Select Package" and choose "Together with WideFS"
  25. Hi, The clients can have FS installed so that is OK. Please list the exact things you have tried so far. Are FSUIPC3 for FS04 and FSUIPC4 for FSX both registered versions?
